Sprawling contemporary lakeside resort offering endless diversions for both kids and adults

The Lowdown

Like its own self-contained village, this imposing four-story resort on Lake Okanagan aims to please golfers, oenophiles, and boating enthusiasts. Choose from one, two, and three-bedroom condo-style suites, all of which offer perks like private balconies and wine fridges. The Spa at the Cove uses Aveda products in an array of treatments ranging from hot stone massages to tourmaline-charged microdermabrasion facials. Tuck into burgers loaded with everything from mushrooms to olive tapenade at the casual lakeside restaurant Bonfire–which also offers appealing vegetarian selections and a lovely wine list.

In the Area

See if you’re up to par at one of the quality golf courses nearby, like Two Eagles, with its inspiring views of rolling hills and Okanagan Lake, and then head off to taste some of the region’s wines, which are rapidly gaining a stellar global reputation. Cedar Creek Estate Winery is a wonderfully situated estate with incredible views that specializes in German varietals like Riesling, Gewürztraminer, and Ehrenfelser. On the way back to the resort, drop by slightly more humble but no less impressive Kalala Wines, known for their organic chardonnay and ice wines.

We enjoyed our recent vacation here in March. Our lakeview room was exquisite. We awoke to beautiful sunrises each morning. The spa was wonderful and had an extremely relaxing environment. The restaurant had a tasty special each evening.

I have been staying at the Cove for a few years now and expectations have been consistently met. From check in, to quiet room, to comfortable bed.
It is such a pleasure t stay where you know what to expect and sometimes have expectations exceeded.
This trip what stands out is the incredible service from Kelly in The Bonfire Restaurant. She recommended great wine and appies to pair.
Thank you for a memorable stay and see you soon

Perfect Place

This place was exactly what we were looking for.
Initially there was a problem with my original reservation but that was resolved before we arrived.
From check in to check out everything was very good.
The hotel is being repainted and our floor was one that was being done during our stay. The company that was doing the work was very courteous!
Front staff at check in (Veronica, I think) was very friendly and we were lucky enough to have her when we checked out also.
The suite we stayed in was excellent, we had a wonderful view of the lake and the gorgeous sunrise.
This is a place we will definitely come back to!

Very pretty

My favourite part of this hotel is their spa. The women in the spa kept us relaxed and comfortable. They even have little snacks of chocolate and cookies to help with any cravings. The Rooms are also gorgeous and bigger than they seemed in the photos. However some things made me very uncomfortable. The windows have great blinds but there are no blinds on the doors that lead to the balcony so someone could potentially look into our suite. I like my privacy so I was not fond of this. There was also hair on the wall of the shower and a wet dirty rag on our kitchen counter. It's a little odd that there were two locked doors connected to the room next to us. We could hear the other guests at talking level which was uncomfortable. Thankfully we couldnt hear them from our bedroom. Beds at this hotel are on the firm side.
