How to Get There
Sheraton Lincoln Harbor hotel made my birthday weekend extra special. The General Manager upgraded us to a suite on the 10th floor with panoramic views of NYC. We went out for dinner to return to another little surprise of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries and pineapple coupled with a birthday wish from management. This hotel was clean and the service was beyond stellar. I can’t thank the staff and management enough for a more than perfect hotel experience.
I am a Marriott guy, so now that Sheraton is part of the Marriott family I decided to try it. Big mistake. Old, dilapidated, run down.
It did have comfortable beds and a nice city view.
The restaurant on site is below average.
We stayed here while competing at Westminster. We travel a lot for dog shows and this was one of the nicest dog-friendly hotels I've been in. The property was in great shape, everything was clean and well-maintained. The room was quite large with a separate sitting area. The staff was helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the experience! Having a dog with us, we were unable to take advantage of the proximity of the ferry dock, but it seems like it would be a very convenient and fun way to get into the city.
We had the panoramic room with the view of the city & the water. The view was great. The convenience of the ferry boat right outside the door was fantastic. We got to enjoy the views from the boat ride and had all of the conveniences of staying in the city. You get off the boat & they have free busses waiting to take you to Central Park or Times Square. The ferry stop just south of us had a different route that took you right to the 911 memorial. It was a good way to see all parts of NYC.
We stayed here in December, what can we say!? The headline on this review says it all.

This Sheraton (along with a bunch of other Sheratons I have stayed in is a 'franchise' hence the standards of maintenance is shockingly bad.
Do not waste your money staying here, it really is a dilapidated hotel.
