Extended Weekend NYC

We came to NJ for a bridal shower and chose to stay at this hotel because it was close to NYC. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful! The location is so convenient for going back and forth to the city. The first day I took an Uber back and forth but that was a mistake. It was expensive and with traffic it ended up taking over an hour to get back to the room (2.6 miles). We then chose the ferry as a way of going back and forth. This was a much better option. I would absolutely come back to this hotel.

Been Before - Still a Nice Property

Have not been for a few years and it seems that they updated the hotel since. My room was nice, clean, big, well appointed (enough plugs, 2 TV's, good air con on a hot day, etc.) I had a "partial view room" which had a fantastic view to lower Manhattan. Only issues were that they still charge for wifi and both of the TV's had issues with getting channels and having enough bandwidth. "The Guy" came up to try to fix and he was able to get more channels to show up, but not all and the TV ended up pixelating and was unwatchable. Club room was a hike from the room (other tower) and when I got there, there really was not a reason to go. Overall, a nice alternative to NYC hotel when prices are high. Very nice staff all around and a real easy ferry to get back to the city. I would stay again.

Hotel focused on exploiting travelers for profit

This hotel is focused entirely on extracting the most money out of travelers, even if that means putting hospitality and guest experience last.

From excessive charges for wifi to $4 water bottles to the extra fee they add for the ferry (on top of the actual fee) to charging $55 per person for their "club" level for snacks, it's basically a financial scheme disguised as a hotel, exploiting the location and view.

This is an average quality hotel. The only positive is the location (next to the waterfront) and view (if you get to see the NYC skyline). Is that worth the substantial cost and financial exploitation by the hotel? I don't think so, but if you have extra money to waste, go for it. Otherwise, you're better off somewhere else for less cost.

One important side note...the so-called "business center" for the hotel is basically just in the middle of the lobby. It's ridiculous they even claim to have a business center. It's just a scheme to get business travelers. Shame on the management of this hotel.

Great Stay!

My best friend and I stayed here on a Friday night. We chose this hotel because we were going on a 80's Rock and Roll cruise around Manhattan and the pier was within walking distance. We were very pleased with our choice! The staff was very friendly, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable! Very modern, nice amenities and fantastic view of lower Manhattan! We were in a double, partial city view on the 8th floor. Only minor problem was the air conditioner was pretty noisy but we didn't notice until we were going to bed around 1AM and by then we didn't care much. Our bad, we should of notified the front desk when we left so they could look into it for the next guest. Perfect location with the NY Waterway right across from the front door. The restaurant inside was by far, not the best....wish they had a better restaurant and the place would be perfect! We would definitely stay here again!

Decent hotel for price paid

It was a decent hotel for the price paid- we only stayed one night. It does require some upgrades as it was an older version of the “Sheraton” hotel line. The room was very spacious and it had a beautiful view. Over all, decent.
