What We Love

  • Daily American breakfast is included in the Jetsetter rate
  • Elegant, without a hint of snobbery; leave the shoes in the villa
  • Permanent on-site marine biology team who lead excellent snorkel safaris
  • Short speedboat transfer from the Malé airport
  • Genuinely friendly, unfawning service from staff you actually enjoy hanging out with
  • Serious spa treatments from highly trained professionals

What To Know

  • No TVs in the rooms or on the island. This is a place to unplug and unwind
  • Drinks aren’t included in the price of the room and can be quite costly
  • The island is tiny — you can literally walk around it in 15 minutes
  • Small but harmless baby blacktip sharks in the lagoon may unnerve some guests
  • Water currents shift the sands, so the villas’ beaches increase or decrease from week to week
  • Speedboat transfers to/from Malé are roughly $113.50 per person, each way, and can be arranged through the property

Great service, beautiful white-sand beaches

2 drawbacks to this hotel: 1) the snorkelling is not as good as on some of the nearby islands 2) because all the paths between villas are simply sand, you have to keep washing your feet to avoid walking sand into your room. The service, however, is abs excellent. The staff are unfailingly cheerful, friendly and helpful.

Vabulous !

We spent 10 days on the island with friends celebrating our wedding anniversaries - we wanted somewhere special and we were not disappointed. From the airport pick up to the return, all the staff were focussed on ensuring we had a great time. Special thanks to Abraham who served us at breakfast, lunch and dinner - always with a smile and a chat. Thohir took care of our room, and was responsible for the amazing bed decorations on our anniversary and my birthday. Rajesh, who was on the grill at lunch and mains for dinner, has a smile that lit up the day, whilst Don ferried beer/wine/cocktails from the bar.

We had an amazing back reviver massage in the Spa - easy to see why it's so highly rated. Whilst we just wanted to unwind and relax, we did some paddle boarding as well as swimming/snorkeling in the lagoon and round the house reef. We needed to try to work off the meals (we were full board). I think it's difficult to cater for a wide variety of tastes, but the food was fantastic. Plenty of fish as you would expect, but the lamb from the grill was superb.

Absolutely loved it. Hope the island's football team get a few more wins before the end of the season !

Amazing Holiday!

My husband and I have just returned from a fabulous weeks stay. We have previously visited the Maldives 7 times staying at various resorts and was a little apprehensive that this island may be too small for us. However that was definately not the case. We stayed in a beachfront villa (35) which was in a great location with plenty of privacy and snorkelling right outside. The stingray feeding was another highlight. Again, as there was only one restaurant we thought we may get bored with the meals, but there was a buffet on the Sunday when we arrived, and the Maldivian buffet on Friday evening, and the other days a set menu was available with plenty of choices. The tuna was some of the best I have ever tasted. A special thanks goes to Hassan for looking after us so well during our stay, and the service we received from everyone else on the island was excellent. Would definately visit again.

The team at the restaurant was very welcoming. We felt at home in a little paradise!

The first 3 days were amazing, the morning fishing trip is the best we ever had it is really worth it even if a bit expensive, khaleel who took care of our room during our stay decorated our room every day very beautifully he is the sweetest BUT if youre flight is in the evening like ours DONT STAY HERE, we requested late check out for any charge they ask even if at full room price because we had a 1 year old with us they told us they are fully booked but on every site online including theirs they still had 6 rooms?? they told us they can give us a room for 100 USD which we happily accepted after they moved us to that room the shock began the room is 3 by 3 meters filled with insects and Geckos appartenly this is a day use room and apparently they upgrade some dayusers of their choise to the resort rooms which we pay over 700 USD for, we payed over 5000 USD for 3 days here and this is how they treat us on our last day ruining our whole stay by bringing us to a 3 by 3 m room because they gave our room to a day user who was suppose to stay in the day use room and yes they told us the 6 available resort rooms are used by dayusers after 4 hours of arguing mrs noha came she was very nice to us and did everything she could and managed to give us our room back overall this last experience ruined our stay we had a booking for next months for banyan tree seychelles but we cancelled it never ever going to stay in any banyan tree again
