How to Get There
The hotel is located in Urgup which is pretty much away from the city centre of Goreme, this is good for those who wish to have some peace and quiet, but this also means that it is pretty inconvenient to walk to any shops and restaurants beyond the hotel, and also you would not be able to see the hot air balloons in the morning. The hotel itself is huge and has great ambience. The cave suite I stayed in is big and well decorated with a great view.
The staff service was pretty good, early email communications with the hotel were met with high efficiency which is great, and the service at the hotel itself was also good. The breakfast quality was pretty good as well. The hotel does provides transfers to and from the airport which you have to share with other customers from other hotels. I personally think that the hotel should inform their guest about this prior to arrival as some guests like myself would prefer to have private transfers and would not mind to pay the extra cost for it.
The check out process for me was a little hectic as there were a bunch of people at reception taking all the seats causing my mother and I to stand outside while waiting for our transfer to the airport. Other than that, I was pretty satisfied with my stay and also appreciated the souvenirs the hotel gave us during check out which was a nice gesture.
Amazing Hotel services and Location
Beautiful view and kind staff
Best hotel I ever visited
Highly ,highly recommend
I rented a suit which was a dedicated villa like with big terrace looking over the valley
I got a nice gift as well from the hotel
Stayed here for 3 nights and loved the atmosphere, hospitality, service everything. Would highly recommend!
The cave building is very unique and gives a very ancient feel to your stay. The staff is very cooperative and helpful on guiding you around tue city. They even gave us free shuttle service to the nearest market!
We were group of 12 staying at Kayakapı Premium caves at Cappadocia. Airport pickup was swift and it took us around 1 hours drive to reach the hotel. We took 3 rooms of Majestic caves and 1 room Majestic cave and pool suite. Although we needed all rooms to be near each other one of the rooms had to be a little far but that is understandable given no rooms were available of the same type nearby. Front desk staff were quite helpful although it took us quite some time to finally go to our room as bookings were made online from a third party website each room had to be verified for their rates and extra charges for kids.
Rooms were a novelty being made in caves. Have we ever lived in a cave? Never. So it was an amazing first time experience for us as well. Every day I used to look around and couldn’t be more awed by how a five star living space could be made within a cave. By cave the first thing that comes to our mind is the living space for men in prehistoric times. But not only is it a room made in a cave but every cave/room is unique. Needless to say the caves we selected were very spacious.
The outdoors were matched to the same theme as the indoors. Outdoor sitting areas with large umbrellas were just awesome. I wish I had stayed longer than 2 days here.
The hotel is endowed with mind blowing natural beauty as it is nestled on the hills made out of caves. The views are really breathtaking. Rooms were not your typical hotel room but every room was differently oriented. One of the higher grade room had a plunge pool. All the rooms had two separate bedrooms with double beds. Our room #105 had Hamam (shower) with jacuzzi. My in laws room #106 was a higher grade had a plunge pool in it. Rooms had special vintage decor. Our bathroom had to be reached by few steps of stairs down and masterbed was also elevated since we had kids we were a bit concerned of them or even us falling down heavily.
The fact that the walls were made out of rock were very abrasive and we bruised ourselves, our shoes and luggages were scraped. But then after a while we got accustomed to it.
Hotel had only 1 restaurant running and food was ok without being special. But then who cares about food when you’re feeding your mind and soul with such unseen heavenly beauty.
Breakfast items were really ordinary. Items being bland or too oily. Restaurant had a spectacular view and swimming pool at front.
Buggies were essential to move around, not sure how many there were but felt they were limited but buggy drivers were always on the go and we got them whenever required.
This is probably one of the best cave hotels in Cappadocia if not one of the very best in the world. We went on a hot air balloon ride from this hotel on our second day.
Nothing much to complain except that the reception was small and front desk staff needs to be more efficient for checking in and out (especially when you have a big group). The restaurant definitely needs to improve on their food quality and variations.
I just wish communication was a bit easier and prompt service at front desk. Otherwise a naturally gifted hotel with picturesque surroundings.
When in Cappadocia this may be a highly recommended place to stay and enjoy.
Stayed at kayakapi cave for my 10th anniversary, this hotel did not fail to impress at all!
Amazing from the welcome , the exceptional service, clean and spacious rooms and great cave room experience.
Unlike most hotels I’ve ever stayed at, the staff always went the extra mile.
The breakfast selection was amazing with fruit juices and authentic Turkish foods.
If you’re traveling to Cappadocia, this hotel is amazing .
