Best Place to Stay in Northwestern Mexico City

This is a very nice hotel. The front desk has always been helpful both as the face of nH Valle Dorado, and as my translators. Alejandra and Rafael have put up with my shenanigans for nearly a year. And Mafair (I'm sure I didn't get that correct) since January. God bless them all.

The restaurant has a very nice breakfast. Well worth the extra pesos to be included in the room charge. Nora, Letitia, Roberto and Chantal provide great service and are quick with the coffee. Fresh eggs make a nice start to the mornings. And if you're a big eater, the omelets are there for you. The fresh fruit was like a breakfast dessert.

The room was well cleaned every day, and the linens changed every other.

Uber is at the door in 5 minutes or less. Favored over taxis. Cabpoint. another service, is just outside the lobby. A great bunch of drivers. The hotel can arrange a ride from the airport if you wish. About $5 USD more than Uber.

On a scale of 1 - 10, I would give it a 9.0. My only negative thoughts are personal, in that I am not a big fan of authentic Mexican food. Tex-Mex is more my speed. More variety in the dinner menu and more American/English speaking TV channels would be nice.

Was booked into this hotel due to the location of my work. Incheck was a nightmare it took 45 minutes to do so only 2 persons behind the desk and 12 in front of it! Food was average in quality but room and bed was okay.

Clean and Modern

I recently stayed at this hotel for several days, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast buffet was fantastic and very well labeled too! The location of this hotel was great, as it is attached to a shopping mall. This was fantastic, as there was supermarket and a mini-department store, along with several dining choices. I high recommend this hotel for families or a business traveler.

It needs better management

The facilities are nice and the hotel is well located.

The room is clean and so is the bathroom (no ventilation though).

Check in is very time consuming and there is one or two staff max. So if you have people ahead of you, multiply 10min times the people ahead of you and get ready to wait.

There is no concierge. If you lose your key you need to wait in line with everyone else to get another key.

There is an ironing board in the room BUT NO IRON!

Room service does not answer the phone. You need to call the front desk and have you transferred.

Breakfast... please change those horrible tongs. I attached a picture of how they SHOULD be please! The current one makes it impossible to pick up fruit or ham/cheese!

Finally, the air conditioning in the room must have a leak from the kitchen as it smells fried fish around dinner time.

Not a good experience.....

Excellent service, installations and attention. Breakfast is very good, the quality and variety of the food is quite nice. My only concern is regarding the parking lot because it does not belong to the hotel and you should pay for it.
