How to Get There
Good location because it’s very near lots of restaurants. Also with great view of Taal Lake. I like their breakfast buffet, food were above average in terms of taste and presentation. But the room we stayed had problem with its air conditioning. It’s running but not cooling. I called up the front desk and reported this. They sent someone to fix the problem but still our room remained hot and this made our stay very uncomfortable. We didn’t enjoy our stay.
We stayed there this week end. We were so amazed that the presence and ambiance at the reception is so great. We were standing on a long queue understanding that it was weekend. The traffic hit us and so the one way scheme of tagaytay over the weekend. But the staff at the front desk wiped out our "pagod" side of that day. We were assisted by this girl at the reception, wearing braces and full smiles on her face knowing that there were so many guests waiting in line. If im not mistaken her name is Camille/Carille. She looked tired but still chose to stand infront with all the sweet smiles on her face just to accommodate the guests. I Tried asking if we can upgrade our room to a suite room since we are 5 (3 adults 2 kids 1 baby) but unfortunately the hotel is fully booked. She even offered extra bed or matress but we got deluxe with 1 quueen and 1 single bed that can suit us. She is very helpful and always willing to check if our requests can be possibly done since i was travelling with a baby and 2 kids. We were also assisted by the bellman, Marte who ensured that our luggage will be delivered to our room quickly. He is very responsive and courteous. We also enjoyed the game room for our kids and the pool area.the pool attendant is also kind. I may say that those staff deserves a good grade as they performed their tasks very well. We had our breakfast at the veranda and it was very good. Lobe the bacon and the food selections!! Everyone in the hotel kept on smiling from entrance until exit when we checked out. Love this place so much!!
I stayed here overnight with my family as a quick get away and staycation before I head back to work overseas. Tagaytay city itself has been a must destination every time I’m home ... but Taal Vista has always been my hiding place ever since when I want to relax and be away from the city buzz.
Thanks for a great welcome from Ramon and Rafael.
This stay was great and I tried their SPA, and I think it will now be a MUST thing to do every time I stay. The “for her” package is .... just ... superb! It is highly recommended to all women who want to have their “me time”. Shenna in the SPA was very gentle and all her movements just sync making you feel more relax.
The lobby lounge acoustic band suits the mood for evening drinks ... just a nice touch to wrap the night.
We will surely be back ... with my entire family in December.
Overpriced hotel with false advertisement of lake view.
Old facilities with moldy shower room.
Overcrowded mini pool.
Overcrowded buffet with poor restaurant management and service
Poor value for money
We stayed here from May 25 to today (May 27) for a short staycation away from Manila and the hotel did not disappoint us.
The room: A bit old but it has all you need. Its kept clean, cozy and has no musty smell unlike what you might experience from other old hotels. One thing I noticed though, is that the walls are not thick enough to filter put the noise coming from other guests walking down the corridors. There are several times when you just wake up from the noise of running toddlers down the hall...
The bathroom: Although quite old as seen on the wall tiles, its manageably clean complete with toiletries.
Staff: Room attendants are responsive, staffs including the guards are friendly and welcoming.
The View: The view of the Lake and the Taal Volcano from our balcony is breathtaking.
Food: The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of menu, and the A la carte selection from the Veranda also tastes fine. Food is not bad but nothing extraordinary.
Overall, We enjoyed our stay and would want to stay here again on our next Tagaytay visit.
