Up market hotel and great breakfast
Reviewed 3 days ago

My wife and I stayed here with our two youngest children over Xmas. Hotel is in a great location 100 m from beach and short walk to Cavil Ave. room was small but very well appointed. Staff were friendly and efficient. Complimentary bike hire was fantastic way of taking advantage of the weather and bike track running along the beach. Gym was also pretty good. The pool area was great but very popular. The most impressive aspect of this hotel was the buffet breakfast which would be about the best I have ever seen and well worth the cost.

A different way to eat
Reviewed 4 days ago

Do not let the undisclosed price of $78/head for an adult put you off. The flavours of the food that you can eat ad lib are phenomenal. A little higher class establishment that I was used to but somewhere where families were most welcomed as well. All staff were exceptionally well presented and worked a team very well.

Incredible breakfast and dinner buffets. Cool vibe.

Loved pretty much everything about this hotel. Beautifully branded in rockerbilly/pin up girl style. I have to talk about the buffets first and foremost... I don't usually even have breakfast, but everyday I had 3 courses! Every breakfast food you could possibly imagine was on offer, beautifully presented and delicious. It was included in our 3 night package purchased through Luxury Escapes, but otherwise would have been well worth the $38 pp. The dinner buffet was equally impressive and also worth the $72 pp. I would stay here again just for the buffets alone, but also couldn't really fault it in any other way (except, if I'm being picky, would have been great to have the poolbar open everyday instead of just Saturday). We stayed in room 911 on the 9th floor, ocean view. Spacious room, huge comfy bed, shower didn't have great pressure but was ok. The room and bathroom felt a teeny bit tired, but the rest of the hotel made up for it. The free bike use was really good because everywhere is a flat ride. Hotel is only a couple minutes walk to the beach. Oh! and we really appreciated the complimentary bottle of champers on arrival for our anniversary! Would definitely stay here again.

Average hotel, needs a clean and rooms updated
Reviewed 6 days ago

Sadly this hotel has become extremely average

The hotel is meant to be trendy and good fun but the room needed an update- bath robes looked extremely used and you certainly wouldn’t want to use them. Cups had chips and our bathroom door was missing parts of the shutter. Overall room was quite sad looking apart from a few pops of colour from the decorative items.

Mini bar had a good selection of items but seemed quite overpriced and certainly nothing was complementary !

Rooms are not very clean

Just a great Hotel

Was only here overnight but this is the best place to stay, pool, gym, great restaurant. Rooms are big and the beds are great for sleeping. this is a small block from the beach and a 7 min walk to the heart of the Gold Coast. Highly recommend
