How to Get There
first time at this hotel it was a great stay .staff friendly and helpful.room cleaned everyday
pool area could do with smoe more sun loungers only complaint.this is my 5th stay at sillot stayed else where but i will cme back here again.buffet breakfast very good value
My girlfriend and me booked this well in advance as we liked the fact it was adults only and we’d never experienced a spa hotel. Looking at the photos this seemed to be “a bit special”
As other reviewers have said, the rooms are dated and very small, the bathroom was not pleasant at all with mould all over the shower head and taps. Very small balcony overlooking a tidy but crowded pool area.
Now the food, there’s only one word to describe it and that’s terrible! I think out of 7 days we eat there for 2 nights. We’d try to have breakfast on a morning but were put off when my girlfriend opened the butter to find inside green with mould!
Not ones to make a big fuss, we quietly told a member of staff but to be honest they weren’t even bothered. No apology nothing.
This wasn’t a cheap holiday, I expected so much more from a 4 star hotel.
I can’t recommend this hotel to other people and I definitely won’t be returning.
Stayed here last week, very disappointed, food was repetitive and very poor quality. Rooms were clean and comfortable but pool area hadn’t enough beds and were all taken very early morning. Think 4⭐️ must be for location as it’s very central and close to the beach .
My sister and I stayed at The Seasun Fona for 1 week from 31st August - 7th September. Our rooms were adjacent, as requested and had sea and pool views, also as requested. The rooms were of good size and clean (and subsequently regularly cleaned by happy smiley staff).
It was my birthday during the stay and the receptionist noticed this from my passport; unprompted, a bottle of champagne was delivered to my room!
During the stay, I managed to lose a ring down the sink; I reported this to reception and by the time I'd had breakfast, the hotel maintenance person had retrieved the ring.
I also requested an extra towel one day; I went to the supermarket opposite the hotel to buy bottled water and by the time I'd returned to my room, the towel was there!.
We found all staff to be pleasant and helpful.
Although breakfast was a little repetitive, food was of good quality.
Location is perfect for beach and I like that the staff discourage guests from leaving towels on sunbeds to "reserve" them. Guests are also discouraged from hanging beach towels over their balcony....it looks untidy!
Our rooms were opposite the Sky bar on level 4, but once patio doors were closed, there was no noise disturbance.
At the end of each landing, there is a "cubbyhole" were departing guests left beach equipment such as lilo's and brollys that they did not want to take home; arriving guests can "recycle" these!
I do not understand the negative reviews; our experience was totally positive and I would happily stay here again and recommend to others.
Thank you Sea Sun staff!!
Just no... if you have any standard or requirements, this is NOT the hotel for you. In regular European standard it would have 1 star. Its VERY dirty and most importantly, it has NO ventilation in bathrooms resulting in mold and foul smell (this is dangerous). On top of this we never got our towels switched, even when put on the ground (had marked to keep track). So i had to go down to reception every second day to get clean once. The bed had same cloth for the whole week. The breakfast seemed OK until i saw the kitchen and how they handled the food. If this was UK they would have shut that restaurant down in seconds. So unless you are a 18 year old that sleeps drunk each night and cant remember a thing, this place is for you. However, if you want a nice holiday experience, AVOID THIS HOTEL. There are far superior hotels just 100-150 meters away for just 150-300 eur more for a week.
