Wouldn’t spend more than €150

The hotel was just ok in almost every way. The location was great but the room makes you want to shower when you leave or touch the sticky floor and light switches. The furniture is dated and generally the level of service is poor although we did get good help from one receptionist on train bookings. Food is mediocre at best and that is hard to do in Italy. If you can get this hotel for a bargain and understand the situation go for it but we paid about €380/night and it feels like we were taken.

An amazing hotel where everything was perfect.

We visited Siena on a recent trip to Florence and wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is on the very edge of town and quite a walk from the train station. The hotel was very busy as the horse festival was taking place so we were limited to rooms. That said, our rooms were excellent. We decided to eat dinner in their restaurant. The views from this are stunning and the food was delicious and could not be faulted. Our waiters were very cheerful and chatty and helped to make the stay special. Could spend a week there.

Located on the edge of the city

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean hotel with as expected sized room, was very busy when we were there. We stayed for two nights and could not really fault the place. Only gripe would be tha our room was next to the lift and entrance which lead to the to the terrace, so noise was noticeable late in the evening.

Very nice hotel in town of Siena.

We are a mature couple, stayed in this hotel three nights in September 2018. We enjoyed this hotel, it was really a nice stay. The hotel is very conveniently located just behind the medieval town's wall, still it is accessible by car and has a private parking lot. All this very important for the tourists traveling in a car, since almost all of the center of Siena is restricted traffic zone and you can't just enter there in your car. Yet the hotel is close to the main attractions, it is about 15-20 minutes walk to Piazza del Campo, which is a heart of Siena. The hotel looked very nice, the room was beautiful, spacious and had everything you need in a hotel room for a comfortable stay. It was clean, the bathroom, the towels, the bed linen, everything was clean and in good shape. It was very good bed and the room was very quiet, so we slept very well. And also we had a great view to the hills and to the town walls from a small balcony. The hotel has beautifully decorated lobby and restaurant, where we had our breakfast, which was very good and included ham, prosciutto, sausages, scrambled eggs with beacons, Mexican beans, several kinds of cheese, fresh bread and juices, coffee, baked products, everything was tasty and fresh. There is also another restaurant on the seventh floor on a terrace with great view on the town. The staff was polite, nice, friendly and helpful. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by a compliment from the management, which included a bottle of red wine and some biscuits and we were told that the bottled mineral water in the minibar is free. The WIFI and the Internet access worked very well. In short, it is very nice hotel, we recommend it by all means.
