How to Get There
My husband and I visited Capella Sentosa for a 2 days 1 night staycation to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary, as well as a short babymoon.
As compared to hotels on Singapore's mainland, the hotels on Sentosa Island feature more of a resort style.
We took up the Capella Three Wishes package, whereby they grant us three wishes from a list of dining and service options they offer. The check-in process at the Lobby was seamless, where we were served welcome drinks and small bites at the lobby couch as the front desk staff processes our check-in. Our room was upgraded to a One-bedroom Garden Villa that features a private plunge pool and an outdoor rainshower. The villa was clean and huge, whereby photos on the Capella website are representative of what you will get at the hotel itself.
Capella Sentosa also has a Living Room above the Lobby that serves local snacks and drinks for their guests whose rooms are not ready yet.
The Afternoon Tea set of dim sum fare at The Cassia was delectable. However, the buffet breakfast spread at The Knolls is pretty limited, serving mainly Singaporean local cuisine.
Overall, I would give Capella Sentosa a five stars and would definitely recommend this place to my friends who would like to have a staycation and has a higher budget.
My husband organised a week end getaway for our 6 years anniversary! The minute we got there I couldn't help but to notice how attentive was the staff: it started with an upgrade to the Villa suite as it was our anniversary and throughout our stay. We stayed in a sumptuous design villa in the middle of the jungle, with our own private pool, an outdoor bath and the comfiest bed on earth. On Sunday we attended the famous Capella brunch with live music, freshest sea food selection, juices and extraordinary pastries. If you are looking to disconnect completely for a few days and live the dream Capella is the place for it.
Staff are freindly and helpful, concerige/bell are very polite and service oriented.
Just room was a handicapped room that we have never requested, and hotel has no one inform us, all becuase of management assign room is bad to guests but best for higher revenue, surely instructed staff cannot tell the guest this is handicapped room for normal guest. BAD. Rated 2stars are belonged to all service staff not management people. *Please do not reply me got to call for room change if unlike the room---remember *this is handicapped room assigned to normal guest by Capella Singapore.
We stayed one night and celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary (50 years!) with a family dinner at the Knollys Restaurant.
A truly memorable experience with excellent friendly staff to ensure our expectations were met for this special event.
Very comfortable bedroom, lovely pool area (children's pool area is separate!) with attentive poolside staff serving cold drinks!
Manor 10 is on the highest end of the Capella options - in theory, it is supposed to be for a group of 6, but if you've actually seen the place, you will agree that you can fit an entire village in it (the village would find the swimming pool really fun too). Service is impeccable, facilities are top-notch and everything looks brand new, as if it just came out of the box.
