How to Get There
My husband and I spent 3 nights at Pearl Farm and it truly was not long enough. From the easy transfer from boat to the island to the welcoming staff, this resort deserves 5+ stars. While the rooms and amenities are simple, it is truly what makes this stay so unique and relaxing. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was nothing but perfect and our rooms were always tended to with nothing but perfect attention to detail. I think every single employee deserves special recognition as each and every person exemplified professionalism and excellent hospitality no matter what. Also, huge thank you to the
Management who surprised us with dinner on the beach! Truly a one in a million kind of resort. We cannot wait to be back! Still dreaming of the breakfast and dinner buffets!
We stayed from 11/1-11/3 in one of the Samal Houses. Boy oh boy, the buffet meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) were hard to resist! The food is impeccable! Authentic tasting 'kakanins' that I will surely miss. The meal times were something we looked forward to even though we were still full from the previous meal.
The staff were all courteous, consistent in greeting you "good morning", "good afternoon" or "good evening". Sometimes I felt it was too much, but hey it was good to feel special and to be treated like royalties. They made sure my strictly vegetarian boyfriend had something aside from the vegetable salad. The chef made him a special Pesto Pasta which was delicious! The restaurant staff made sure he was satisfied with his meals.
A special shoutout to Rodel, the Parola Bar bartender. Very few people went for a drinks at the bar so we had time to chat with him. My boyfriend and Rodel talked like they were longtime friends. He is a good conversationalist. Thank you for the stories Rodel. We had fun talking with you!
Just one thing that maybe the management can look into. We were excited to go kayaking but there were only two and both looked old and damaged. Perhaps it needs to be replaced. Nonetheless, that didn't stop us from kayaking and going to Malipano Island.
Pearl Farm is a paradise as it is and eventhough it's quite expensive, you want to come back again because of the genuine hospitality of the staff.
The resort overall is pretty scenic and nice. We had some issues with our reservation, but the staff seemed to go above and beyond to try and rectify whatever issues we had. For that, we were very impressed. Would be nice if the resort had at least one more dining option asides from the main restaurant, but overall a very relaxing experience!
