This resort has proved to be my best finds in Goa. The location amidst the woods, the beautiful and tasteful rooms, the serene pool, the eversmiling staff and the history and art in every nook took my breath away. The resort has several spots to drink coffee and enjoy a book. The owners have collected artefacts from around the world and thus offer a vibe that is inexplicable. The price was absolutely fantastic and truly value for money. My favourites were the Victorian style bath tubs and the big jacuzzi pool with a swim up bar. Do give this resort a chance, you wouldn’t regret it.

I visited this hotel 3rd time . I just love being here for stay. Its a very clam & quiet hotel . Not crowded. So u just feel very relaxed as very less crowd. Rooms a very good , big size & spacious. The pool is also very good to get yr stress get off ,which also has jacuzzi.
Mr amar the manager & all the staff very helpful & cooperative. Room service is very prompt & fast as it is a small boutique hotel .
Food is very good & most importantly u get the food any time as there are no time restrictions . chef is personally available for u to meet yr demands for the dishes to prepare as per u ask for .
Its a perfect hotel to stay with family for a relaxing holiday.
Only thing to improve is i will suggest is need some more experienced staff which were lacking as most were in there training days .but still I insist to stay here .

Me and my wife decided to spend our first anniversary in Goa and we happened to get lucky with a last minute booking for 2 nights at Shanti Morada - and it was totally worth every penny!

The building appears to be a 100-yr old bungalow converted into a hotel. The decor predominantly has an ancient Indian theme to it, albeit is completely equipped with all the modern facilities. There is a pool bar which also has hookah - great idea for sure. The pool is well maintained - only that it could be well lit. The restaurant offers food at great prices and the quality is impeccable - definitely feels like home cooked food.

The staff did a great job of walking us through the entire property, showing us all the facilities. Housekeeping service is remarkable. There is also an opportunity to participate in yoga classes tailor-made for the customer, cooking classes organised by the head chef which involves you cooking your favourite 2 course meal under the guidance of the head chef - that definitely is a head-turner for many foodies :D

All in all - great stay and hospitality. I totally recommend this for any kind of traveller!

The Fabulous Shanti Morada Experience

A lovely property(restored Portuguese villa) tucked into a quiet street in Saligao. The property is overflowing with unique and traditional Indian artefacts and furniture and it is quite a treat to discover some beautiful pieces on display across the property.
The staff is wonderfully warm and welcoming and they go out of their way to pamper their guests.
We had a wonderful 2 nights stay and enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi bar which we had all to ourselves luckily.
I highlyrecommend Shanti Morada because it checks my long list of must haves and most importantly for how well maintained the rooms and property are.
Great job to the whole team! Can't wait to go back!

Tasteful and soulful

The picture with my note in their book should say it all.

Every corner and every wall had its own language. Every room had its own character. Even the basics like bathroom accessories matched the name of the room.

Every person there was smiling, helpful and eager.

It was a fantastic break from the city and a new way of looking at Goa. It is close to all the good beaches and places, yet in the property you could feel like you are in the mountains. I was thrilled to have the best of both worlds.

One felt pampered and looked after, like at mom's.
