Gross

Definitely need updating and get with the times. Rooms are old, no new paint in years, no bottle water offered in rooms, no refrigerator in rooms, mold in the windows, no glasses in the bathroom for toothbrush and carpet seems to be original from 20 years ago. Very outdated and makes you feel like you’re in the 1980’s. Extremely disappointing

Bat Mitzvah
Reviewed 4 days ago

Our granddaughter, Maya was bat Mitzvah and the occasion was celebrated at Doral Arrowwood hotel. It was absolutely magnificent as it included a beautiful setting in their pavilion near the swimming pool where the guests were invited for all kinds of salads and drinks and had access to the pool and the sports facilities which are on a very high standard.
Afterwards in the late afternoon we partied in a an area set aside for all of the guests and there was food and dancing.
The grounds of this hotel include a golf course and it is only a 45 minute to one hour drive from NYC.

weekend getaway

Just happen to find this place searching a close hotel to nyc. nice experience with family weekend getaway we manage to enjoy the pool . However very disappointed in the care of the property it seems like its seen it's heydays and could use updating grounds nice however our room was not what we paid for and rugs were dirty and dusty not good for someone with allergies found nail clippings behind night stand when going to use outlet to charge phone

Bedbugs!
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Absolutely in need of an overhaul. Extremely dated interior. Dirty walls, worn carpet, musty smelling rooms, drapes from the 80s, but worst of all, after one night, had bedbug bites all over my back. There is a reason why this place is “affordable.” The only care is put in maintaining the park like grounds. It stops right there. Somebody bring in new management. Wow.

Would recommend the Doral Arrowwood

Went at the end of August 2017, the rooms were large and clean, staff was friendly and helpful, on-site restaurants were good and not too expensive, recommend the buffet breakfast (Just check your final bill as they double charged us for meals, but were quick to fix once confirmed with restaurant.) Grounds are very nice, did not partake of the pool, but going back again end of August 2018 and hope to dip at least a toe then.
