X2 Kui Buri Resort
What We Love
- Villas with walls of sliding glass doors that open onto private terraces and gardens
- Indoor and outdoor showers in the guest rooms
- The 200-square-meter swimming pool with ocean views
What To Know
- The flipside of the serene location is that there’s no nightlife nearby
- Large portions of the resort are open-air, which can be a challenge in the rain
- Pets are welcome with an additional charge
- Free WiFi
- Parking On Site
- Room Service
The first resort in the X2 (pronounced “Cross-To”) portfolio, Kui Buri is located on the secluded beach of Ao Noi, between the royal retreat of Hua Hin and the beach resort town of Pranburi. But it’s quite different from the busy resorts in either of those locales, with just 23 high-design villas on four acres. Each of the villas has a private outdoor garden or private pool, as well as indoor and outdoor rain showers. An abundance of mature trees and unimpeded views of the Gulf of Thailand connect guests with nature. The Thai (and Western and fusion) fare in the 4K (“fork”) restaurant and Thai massages on offer in the spa connect guests with local culture.
In the Area
This X2 resort is in the Prachuap Khiri Khan region, an underdeveloped coastal area three hours’ drive from Bangkok and just 30 minutes from Hua Hin, where the Thai royal family decamps when they’re in holiday mode. (Hua Hin is also a center of golf courses and resorts.)
How to Get There
Lovely Place for everyone one you Loved ❤️ Especially Dog❤️😍😳😘🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶We are love X2 Kui Buri Very much .... The building and facilities should be modernized. And take care of those who take the dog to rest, that the size of the dog because of the cost for dogs.
We spent three nights here and never left. The pools are beautiful and never busy, the beach is clean and open and the staff is welcoming and attentive. The highlight were the delicious meals and breakfasts prepared by the newly arrived chef who is revamping the menu. We were lucky to have some special attention with a shrimp curry and whole fish prepared Chinese style. While the rooms could use a tiny bit of tlc, the attentive and friendly staff more than compensated. We had a lovely stay and would certainly return!
Our family, including dog, adored this resort with a private pool with our villa that we could all paddle in, the brilliant large pool for people, and easy beach access for long walks with happy hounds. Breakfast had a range of good options and we found few reasons to leave the resort as it was pleasant to relax on site. The car protection wraps on our vehicle were a pleasant surprise, and our dog enjoyed his first ride in a golf cart!
We stopped here to get some drinks and have a look at the beach. The hotel is clean and staff friendly but it is in a very very remote location. The nearest 7/11 is at a service stop on the main road... not in walking distance. The villas are pretty and some have gardens however if you have large dogs they will not be contained by the knee high bamboo fencing.
The fruit smoothies are great! And the restaurant has a beauiful setting.
What can I say. Not 1 negative. By far the best hotel resort we have visited in Thailand. Value for money. Professional staff. Breakfast out of this world. Perfect beach. Rooms are fantastic. It’s heaven. Well done everyone that works here. First class !
