How to Get There
Just done three nights in this hotel...really lovely. The staff are so nice and very helpful...Will bring up a lovely chilled bottle of wine and snacks for a reasonable price to the roof top Jacuzzi....what's not to like?!!!
My wife and I stayed a week at Hotel Dolce Vita in one of their suites. We really could not fault anything. The staff are all very helpful and friendly, The decor and furnishings are very tasteful throughout. Our suite was simply brilliant, spacious and well-furnished. The breakfasts were also very good, with a fabulous selection on offer.
There are several very good restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel and the area of Costa Smerelda is breathtakingly beautiful.
This is a quaint boutique hotel where the staff tries really hard to make your stay enjoyable.
I wouldn’t call this the fanciest of hotels but it’s the right place to spend the night after a day of doing various activities on the island.
We got the 1-bedroom suite which was quite nice in terms of layout. Great balcony with a view of the landscape and sea from afar. I found the mattress a bit uncomfortable but that might just be me.
The parking lot is plenty big, so lots of space.
Breakfast was sort of “ok”. The poor wonderful lady works like a champ all by herself to set this all up, but it’s nearly impossible to keep everything replenished for such a large crowd in a short amount of time.
The pool grounds was empty pretty much the whole time; it would have been such a hit had it been located on the large rooftop but instead it’s enclosed and located at first floor level.
My only recommendation is that the carpeting in the hallways is seriously embarrassing. It looks like cheap commercial carpeting from the late 70s. I just find it surprising when looking at everything else in the hotel being modernized.
The hotel is located conveniently near lots of restaurants and other stores, so it’s easy to walk at night after driving all day.
Given the decent price paid and the effort the staff puts in, I would say this hotel is right on par as a 4-star.
