How to Get There
Good hotel and close to beach. Very few English guests in hotel or on the beaches. Local to some good restaurants. Wouldn’t say it was five star but certainly good four star. Staff always very helpful and friendly.
We stayed two nights for € 700,= total in a "room with garden view" (!!). Normally we are not used to mention the room rates, but in this case we have no option, because for this amount you expect a certain value (for money). In our "Ikea" decorated small room it was noisy, bathroom door not to be closed, too much noise in the middle of the night of drunken guests running on the floors. Staff is friendly but this is a place where you can feel and see that that they want to be something what they can not deliver. Pity and disappointed.
We have previously stayed at the Pure Salt Adriano and wanted to try the Garonda. We loved it - even though the area is very different from Port Adriano. The hotel is spotless, our room had wonderful views (floor 5) of the sea. We ate in the restaurant and had delicious food. The manager Loes Lubat is excellent and is on hand and always helpful. All the staff were very lovely and were doing an excellent job. The breakfast is a delicious buffet with beautiful fresh food cooked to order. I enjoyed the walk along the promenade which took me all the way to the sand dunes very relaxing. Yes the area is built up but the hotel is quiet and peaceful. You can walk across the road to the beach if you wish which is sandy but you do have to hire sun loungers which is standard in this area. You have the advantage of being very close to Palma is you want to eat there or visit. We were so happy staying there and loved it. We will be back again and again it was lovely. Thank you for our lovely restful experience.
We stayed between Sept 25-30th. We took advantage of your good offer to upgrade to a junior suite which included a 25 minute back massage per adult and 10 € per day allowance toward food and beverage. The amenities, location, and view are outstanding. But what makes a stay enjoyable are the people who make you feel welcomed and handle you with friendly customer care. With this, I would like to give my thanks to Jaime and Tisho who made us feel welcomed and appreciated. You should give them a raise! Now for the other side of the coin. As you know, repeat customers are critical to the financial wealth and well being of a company. So a negative experience from your staff makes one hesitate to come back. The bar area is adjacent to the pool are but clearly separate. Many people purchased water from the local shops to stay hydrated. One of your staff went around to all at the pool and said the plastic bottles were not allowed. Now while this may be your hotel’s policy, it is not posted anywhere in the area. For what we pay in room rate this behavior is unacceptable customer service. My recommendation to you is that you open a small shop by the pool towel area and offer bottled drinks at the same price as the locals. People will buy from you because it will be more convenient and you will generate more income. The manner in which you present your rules to customers does matter! Regardless, all In all, would highly recommend your hotel. Just re-emphasis to your staff that the customer is always king. The people will come back. Continuous improvement as we say in business. Signed, Jr. Suite 202 🙂
We are just returned from our 3rd visit, and again we had an excellent stay. As soon as we walked in we were greeted on Reception by Boris, who was friendly, charming and checked us in very efficiently. The room is large, very clean and equipped with all the items you would want for a weeks stay. There is even a kettle, cups and complimentary tea and coffee which I do not remember from last year.
The pool area and gardens are well maintained so no problem finding a sun lounger. The breakfast at the hotel is brilliant, lots of choice, open till 10.45 am, and items restocked as soon as they are needed. A lot of staff on duty, so the dining room is always clean & tidy.
Reception was never too busy, and staff able to answer questions re transport, places to visit etc.
The public beach is looked after, and there are dozens of restaurants and cafes about to cater for every taste and price range
A extral 'thank you' to Boris who made our stay extra special
