How to Get There
We booked Westin directly from the website as other portals had the same rates so I thought why not book direct as that has its own perks. We do thorough research before planning a trip coz we do not book through an operator - they kind of give you peanuts for the price of a bar. Anyways, coming to our Westin experience.
The reservation was seamless and the team was able to assist you with all queries we had before hand and we received prompt response via emails.
The check in was seamless - the welcome drink was so refreshing. Amp was assigned to assist us with our reservation. When she got to know that we were on our anniversary trip, she left no stone unturned. We were lucky to have her.
Rooms: We received an upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite. The room was beautiful and had a breathtaking view. She arranged for a romantic dinner, anniversary cake and a bottle of sparkling wine. Certainly a memorable anniversary. For other days, we got another upgrade to 1 bedroom pool villa. In both rooms, the pool was well maintained. The room service is second to none. They also have an app BONVOY where u can simply order for any room supplies and they will be at your doorstep in a few minutes. Seamless. After having a long day visiting the city, when we returned, our room was all set to cuddle in. They pampered us to the core.
Food: The breakfast had a huge spread. All cuisines and several live counters - the eggs and crepe’s were my personal favourite. The Prego by the pool serves amazing Italian food - they completely customise the food to your taste. The seasons of taste has a good spread of Multi cuisine dishes. Prompt service and extremely delightful.
Resort: The entire resort was so well maintained. The way the resort has been set up on a huge landscape, the carts come really handy and are accessible all the time. The horizon pool is beautiful and I couldn’t resist to swim there, inspite of having a private pool. The resort has a lot of photogenic spots and you cannot have enough of it. The resort had a lot of daily activities to make the stay pleasant as well as enjoyable. Some of the activities - Aquacise, kayaking, sand castle making and lots of kids activity.
I was a delightful experience and I would love to recommend it to every traveler who is visiting Phuket.
Please note, the resort is located at an end of Phuket which is opposite to the hustling parts of the city like Patong but trust me it’s worth staying there. They have daily shuttles to take u to Phuket town and Patong Beach - that too at several time slots.

We stayed there for 2 nights at the end of our 2 weeks Thailand round trip where we relied mostly on 3-Star hotels. The Westin claims to be a five Star Resort but in our opinion there are a few drawbacks you should consider before staying here.
Let me start with the positive things about the Westin Siray Bay:
When arriving the Lobby area looks super nice with an excellent view over the bay, directed towards sunset. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming, your luggage will be brought to the room with a golf cart (it’s quite hilly here, hence the wonderful views) and if you are sick of walking you can always jump on a cart and let you bring anywhere in the resort. The pathways and stairs are well maintained, clean and signage helps you navigate throughout the resort.
The room itself is very spacious (got a premium sea view suite) and clean, a/c works fine and the two balconies offer chairs and sun-beds to chill. The shower and amenities provided are great.
One night we had dinner at Prego - the Italian restaurant. For Thailand the food was ok, not quite the Italian quality we are used but again, we are in Thailand. The service however was excellent.
Breakfast was served below the main breakfast area (for Platinum Members) which was absolutely stunning. You can get pretty much everything you desire, with freshly made egg-dishes, juices, fruit, sushi, cereals, bread and so on... again, huge plus for the breakfast and the service there.
The Horizon and Prego Pools offer exceptional views, a neat pool bar and fresh towels everywhere.
Since this hotel claims to be a 5 Star Hotel one needs to look a bit closer for a proper review.
1: The Hotel:
Despite it’s magnificent views the Room and exterior lacks maintenance and needs renovation: wooden frames of doors and windows have scratches and holes, tiles in the pool look rusty/dirty, some covering elements of the infinity pool need fixing or rework, edges of glass on the balcony are brown (probably rust 🤔) and many other minor things that add up and change the perception on a second look.
The horizon pool looks very cool, but who picked the music? There is some Celine Dion and other funeral music playing all day long, way too loud and either the boxes or the device playing the music is broken since the music is not played continuously. My advise would be to work on the playlist, there’s so much Cafe Del Mar sound or easy house-beach vibes out there, or simply play an easy listening youtube playlist.
I got it! It’s a Westin, I know that you have to dig a bit deeper into your pocket for everything but the prices here are extremely high for Thailand. Every price you see is without 10% taxes so a dinner for two at the Italian Restaurant for example adds up to ~2000bath without wine (which btw is ridiculously expensive in Thailand)
I’m more than happy to pay european prices if everything else is up to a 5 star hotel standard but see the issues mentioned already. If you would sell yourself as a 4 Star Resort and lower the prices of food and beverages you would have gotten a 5 Star Review. But you don’t so please fix those things.
Staff are amazing and very friendly and helpful specially restaurants and breakfast 🥞 pancakes are so yummy 😋 unfortunately twice I requested to extend my stay and the lobby staff help me without any hesitation It was absolutely amazing. Room attendant did a great job I really want say thank you to her unfortunately I couldn’t make it. also to the buggy boys. Thank you very much 🙏🏻
The best of venue, This room was prefect over ocean view.

Me and my husband stayed in Westin for a get away holiday. The hotel reception needs to have more experience with individual guest. It seems they are very much acclimatized to the groups staying in the hotel.
Restaurant staff however were very polite, helpful and hospitable. The food as well was just "OK".
We also went for a massage and had a good experience specially the steam.
The hotel itself has a mesmerizing view as well as very calm and peaceful atmosphere.
