Best in class

Hotel that will give you a best in class service. Baby friendly and nature friendly. There are birds playing around and floating beds where you can relax. It was a super nice 4 days 2 night stay. Yes we visited twice within 1 week. 👌😊

Hospitality at its best!

This resort is just beautiful! But what makes it stand out is the hospitality of all it’s employees. They were all very accommodating especially to my elderly mother. We requested a wheelchair which we were able to use for the duration of our stay. Our room wasn’t available yet when we arrived so they let us stay at an air-conditioned holding area and brought in a couch and chairs so my mom can sit comfortably and relax after being tired from the flight. Thank you to Verginia for helping us with that. During our stay I asked for a nebulizer and I was given one right away. Nurse Esmie provided us with everything that we needed so that my mom can use the nebulizer. I also asked for a fan so that my mother could sit at the patio more comfortably despite the heat and we were given one right away. My son is a picky eater and only wanted cheese pizza which was not available at the buffet. But Chef Al Matias had a whole cheese pizza made and served just for my son. If we wanted just grilled cheese and not the whole club sandwich, we got it. We wanted mangoes which were not at the buffet, our servers Patrick and Matt gave us mangoes and were always very helpful! My kids locked themselves out of the room twice and front office staff were very friendly and immediately gave us new key cards. Thanks to Maynard and Khev and all at reception area. I had an awesome massage by the beach courtesy of Jean. Thanks to Steve for picking us up and helping with the luggages and to Earl Bryan for pushing my mom’s wheelchair. Thanks to our driver Antonio. I don’t know all the names and I’m sure I’ve forgotten people but from the time we arrived to the time we left, everyone from the front of the resort up to housekeeping and engineering were very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Service was very prompt! Thank you for making our stay so very pleasant and just wonderful! You guys rock!

Excellent services and very relaxing living environment for vacation. We had various buffets in the morning, enjoyed the clean soft beach and took the fantastic body spa in the afternoon, also had the special dinner with wine here. You can spend all day long staying here! It was the most wonderful vacation resort I had ever experienced. Specially thanks to Dinnis, Joseph, and RJ for sweet and considering service:) Very recommend people to come!

I was really kind and attentive. Thanks to you, it was a good memory. I'll come back later. I stayed for 6 / 11-13 for two days, but I was impressed by the care of the female staff. I'm sorry I do not know your name. I can not see the last day. All employees are impressed and kind. The facilities were clean, too, and the kisses sweets that I gave as gifts were so delicious. I ordered a breakfast lunch before going on the hopping tour. South Farm is very good.

Nice views and relaxing atmosphere

Stayed at South Palms with the family for our Bohol getaway. We had a wonderful and relaxing time. The kids enjoyed it. The amenities included with the rates seems to have improved (from reading prior reviews), kayak use, snorkeling gear are offered free of charge, although there is a time limit of 30 mins. Views are spectacular, there is enough white sand/beachfront space to go around. The resort was fully booked during our stay but the beach/facility was not crowded at all.

Upon check-in, they do warn you to wear watershoes/footwear when using the beach due to presence of sea urchins. The lady that checked us in was not as hospitable as the others staff surrounding her, she seemed tired and was somewhat short when I asked questions. Although, the information I needed was on the hand outs provided, some courtesy would have been appreciated. All the other staff on the front desk were very pleasant, friendly and hospitable.

The transportation from the hotel to the seaport had a fee, I would have to agree with another guest that considering their prices, this would be a service they could render for free. There is a set schedule for the ferries anyways, so it’d be feasible to arrange that transport or if a guest requests transport.

Food was average considering the prices, nothing out of the ordinary. Since there is no easily available transportation out of the resort, so you’re kinda stuck. Though, you do have an option of walking down the beach to the other nearby resorts to have your meal there (while enjoy the picturesque beachfront views).

The room assigned to us was close to the pool, front desk and restaurant which was AWESOME! and greatly appreciated. 🎉😁 Oh, and they have a Pillow Menu, which is included free of charge. Though we didn’t avail of them since the pillows we had were comfy.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. I would recommend getting hold of a local coop company if you want to do the tours. The hotel’s prices for the tours is per person, as supposed to local coops only charge for the driver/vehicle fee (range PP2500-3500 without tip) for an 8 hr day tour (regardless of how many are in your party and whether you need a van or a car), entrance fees to tour sites are on you if you go this route.

We’ll stay here again if the wind blows us back to Bohol. It was a good experience, I do hope they’ll have better food then. 😁
