How to Get There
We loved Henann resort at the Alona beach. Rooms and everything were so clean. Food was also good. Breakfast was also amazing, something to choose for all! Pools and the whole place was so beautiful and the hotel staff was so amazing, special greetings to the main pool bar staff! (in front of the beach) So nice, friendly and funny people. Especially we enjoyed about the happy hour hah! Thanks so much! We hope we can come back some day to this special place. Greetings!
It definitely did not meet our expectations. The lobby is not air conditioned and it was horribly hot. They had coolers which circulated hot air! The lounge chairs by the pool were hard and uncomfortable, didn't have cushions. We were allowed 1 beach towel and we had to surrender a towel card and they warned us if we lost the card, we would get charged for a towel! We were paranoid about not losing this card.THe hair dryier was"mickey mouse:"You had to leave your thumb on a small button to keep it on.You got tired of doing this that it was hard to dry your hair completely since you would get so tired. This was probably so they could save on electricity. The only good thing is the staff who were exceptional. This place has potential but right now it cannot be considered a 5 star resort.Oh,insulation is bad, you hear everyone running and carrying on in the next room.
We stayed for 10 days and our experience at Henann was absolutely fabulous in every way. The Hotel is 4 years old and beautiful. Our room was immaculate, the cleaning staff were so terrific for keeping it clean everyday. Especial thanks you to Frank who oversees that the hotel runs smoothly and for giving a wonderful birthday surprise for my husband on his 65th birthday! And to Andrew at the beach club bar for such a great host during those nights of our stay. The food at the restaurants is great and complimentary breakfast is fabulous!
Excellent resort hotel. Wasn’t really expecting anything extraordinary but this property is up there with the likes of Shangri-La Boracay and Mactan. Rooms are tidy and clean. Pools are inviting. The food in their restaurants are tasty and priced reasonably. Spent 4 days in the resort and we didn’t bother to go out and eat outside the resort because of the quality of food served. Beach front is kept clean and secured. Overall, I’m looking forward to be back again.
This hotel never heard of online payment and transaction. The management doesn’t have the skills and a competent person to handle and improve this service despite repeated bad reviews with their payment system.
I have made a reservation for my clients and were booking them using my credit card but when they arrived at the hotel they kept on calling me (I was inside the plane and we were about to take off) to have me send a scan copy of my ID, the credit card that I used upon booking and an authorisation letter to be able to allow my guests to stay even if their names were the ones I reserved. And IT WAS FULLY PAID ALREADY! What is your problem?! I was only booking for them and I used their names as the guests. I was not the guest!!! Why are you acting like robots?!
Instead of moving forward, this hotel is moving backwards, going back to the 70’s or the 80’s where online payments and transactions are never heard of.
Their check-in and check-out were also soooo slow! So crowded and sooo noisy! Find somewhere else and avoid this hotel!
