How to Get There
The Resort facilities and the staff are all very friendly and very accommodating. Food in the Sea Breeze and in Coral Restaurant have great selections.
My comment. The resort's responsibility should extend to taking care of the beach. One of the considerations of the guests staying here is the resort is the beach front. They should keep the beach front clean and neat. They should also be strict with the people visiting the beach front and enforce keeping the area clean.
I cant keep myself quiet because Bohol might be Boracay if not taken care of.
If i may suggest being the biggest resort along Alona Beach, i hope your resort will spearhead the collaborative contribution to keep the beach clean. With global warming that we are all facing, everybody should participate to keep our environment clean and healthy. "To whom much is given much is expected". Hennan Resort Bohol is one of the reputable resorts being fully booked most of the time. I hope you also take time to report and ask help from the government. The beach is shouting for HELP!
The property is lovely, perfect location right on the beach. The staff were great and the resort is beautiful. Though if you are intending to relax at the property by day, I would suggest you reconsider your stay here until the construction occurring either side of the property has finished. As the chainsaws only just started cutting down trees, it may well be sometime yet till the construction is finished.
Our small group (2 couples and 1 toddler) stopped off at Henann for 2 nights to get some R&R partway through our one month of adventures. We were planning on spending the day by the pool, though this was cut very short on account of the construction work happening on both sides of the resort. The use of chainsaws and power tools while you are lounging by the pool with a cocktail is not my idea of relaxation. Granted there was one other pool by reception, though this was very busy with everyone escaping the chainsaws from the beachfront pool. There was no mention of this work on their website or anywhere else. We were not advised on booking or checkin and accommodation was still charged out at full price. Even management agreed they would not bring their family to the resort at present. It was a very disappointing stay, when we could have stayed at any one of the other 5 star resorts on the island.
Management and resort policies provided little to no resolution. We were offered a fruit platter or a change of room. As the room nor the food was the issue, I can easily say this is the worst resolution I have ever been offered in all my travels staying at a variety of establishments. While management would not acknowledge the work underway was associated to the resort, various staff all confirmed it was.
This resort has grown too big and lost touch with its customers and what makes a memorable stay. I am happy to pay for quality, though I do expect it to be just that. When you pay for something and do not get what is advertised, I can say disappointment is the least of what I am feeling.
To end on a slightly positive note, Kai Spa and the buffet lunch were fantastic. Though please take note of the closing times for the lunch, we didn’t realise how late in the afternoon it was and we weren’t advised when we were greeted by the wait staff that the buffet would soon be closing. Upon starting our salads we were advised the buffet was closing in 15 minutes, however the manager on duty was lovely and extended by 15 minutes of us to grab some food.
Me and my friends went here last week and I must say that we had a memorable vacation! The resort have this wonderful infinity pool with a bar area around it when you want to drink with your friends or family. And the staffs were very nice and friendly so you can simply ask them if you need something. If you want a stress free environment, I highly suggest this place!
