Best beach resort experience ever!

We stayed at Eskaya to celebrate my mom’s birthday. We were 5 adults and 1 child (1 year old). We got the family villa wich had 2 bedrooms, a living room, 2 giant bathrooms, a private pool, and endless views of the ocean from all rooms of the house. It even had a big balcony facing the water as well.

The villa also offers a butler service, and I have to say, Regie, the butler assigned to us, was a big factor in our wonderful vacation! He accomodated every request (to the best of his ability of course) and went above and beyond to really make our stay the best it could possibly be. He really took the initiative to go out of his way to make our every activity the most enjoyable and comfortable that he could. He even helped me plan my moms surprise birthday lunch and helped me think of ways to get her out of the villa so he could set it up for us. In all my years of travelling and staying at hotels and resorts around the world, I have never met an employee more hardworking and dedicated as Regie.

Besides Regie, their manager Lorna was also the best of help to us, she would accomodate all our requests as well, such as special food that wasnt on the menu. She made things possible.

Staff - 10/10
Everyone is friendly and helpful and does their beat to make your stay the best it can be.

Accomodations - 10/10
Spacious rooms, everything is clean, good upkeep.
Privacy is great! Even if they were fully booked, we would only see other guests at the restaurant during meal times.

Food - 10/10
Must try:
1. Humba (i regret only trying this on the last day)
2. Sisig (crispiest, tastiest sisig i have ever eaten! Perfectly spiced, crunch with every bite!)
3. Grouper fish with mushrooms ragout (my stepdad ate this for lunch and dinner all 3 days! So fresh!)
4. Margarita Pizza (cheese is so gooey and crust is so crunchy!)
5. Buko shake. Buko shake. Buko shake. EVERY MEAL.

Beach: 8/10 (for the time of year we went)
The sand was so fine and white, it compares to the powdery sand of Boracay. One downside was since it was habagat season, the waves were stirring up the sand and bringing in the seaweed which kept us from seeing the clear blue waters i was told about) they told us to return march-may to see the best time of year for their beach.

Honeymoon at Eskaya

The hotel has breathtaking views and each villa is extremely private. Every villa has an infinity pool and private balcony. The rooms are newly updated with smart TVs, good WiFi and plenty of space. Most rooms have an outdoor bathroom with bamboo shower, full jacuzzi, toilet, and covered shower. The housekeeping staff does a great job of lighting mosquito repellent every night for the bathroom and infinity pool. The newer villas feature a half indoor bathroom (toilet, sinks, covered shower indoor) and half outdoor (bamboo shower and jacuzzi) which was a nice touch. We did the tour to Chocolate Hills and the sunset cruise and both featured amazing customer service and unforgettable experiences. Overall would highly recommend this property for couples on their honeymoons (instagram heaven!) or families (so much space the villas!). It was an experience we will never forget!

Amazing time for the whole family

It is true: Visiting Bohol is worth it and staying at Eskaya Beach Resort & Spa makes it an amazing experience.

We spent only a short stay there but from the 1 year old up to the 82 years old of our family had a great time. From the moment you set foot on Bohol until you have to leave again, all the staff make sure you are perfectly taken care of. This mainly thanks to Clark, the extremely friendly personal butler assigned to us.

The villas and facilities are a perfect balance between nature and luxury; the place to rest and indulge.
