Such a wonderful place, love it ❤️❤️❤️

From the moment you arrive you're greeted so warmly (lovely welcome drink too), to the cosy room overlooking the pool and the gorgeous gardens and beach this hotel ticked all the boxes for us.

Staff are friendly and lovely (Alwin - reservations, Jason - restaurant). Alwin was very helpful with our booking and Jason was just a delight at dinner service) we ate 3 of the 4 nights of our stay & I'd highly recommend the restaurant. Food is delicious and prices are reasonable, considering Alona Beach is a small distance away they could easily charge more but that's probably what makes them so attractive. Loved the prawns and seafood dishes. Flavoursome and fab!

The beach is DIVINE! Pure white sand, gorgeous blue waters and a lovely reef to snorkel if you fancy. If you're just after wanting to relax and lounge around its perfect too. You can enjoy some cocktails and there's plenty of loungers so you aren't rushing to try get one.

The pool was clean and so refreshing. Enjoyed a few dips here too. Overall I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a small piece of paradise.

Clean and quiet - great place to chill

If you are in to the wooden crafts motif then this would be a great place to stay. Unfortunately, we're not (creepy in fact) but giving it 4 stars though. The place was very clean. Accommodating staff (quick service too). The beach is just 3 minutes away and we had it all to ourselves which was awesome! I would suggest they invest on shore clean up once in a while though since we saw several plastic trash along the shore line. Other than that this was a clean and quiet place.. great for kids too. We'll be back

Absolutely amazing place

My girlfriend and I visited Amarela and it was great. Amazing friendly staff, they’ll literally go out of their way to help you.
The scene when you walk down from the hotel to their private beach is absolutely stunning.
They have a very nice bbq dinner at some nights of the week, accompanied by live music.

The hotel is very cozy, clean and they will help you by booking a tour or rent a motorcycle.

Will absolutely go there again!

When you want some peace and quiet, this is the place. It is not located in the more crowded beach area. It has its own beach. So for honeymooners, this is the perfect place. By the way, it has a small corner of collection of local Boholano arts which makes the place uniquely interesting.

Not the best quality/price ratio

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days and were a little disappointed by the quality of it.

+: the lovely staff, the location, the charm of the place, the two boats tours that we booked (do not forget to bring earplugs and you have to pay environnemental fees and guide fees that are not included in the price - the hotel should explain it a little more)

- : The place was crowded and the pool is very small. During 5 days we did not have the chance to enjoy the pool once ! It is so small that you cannot swim and people will put things on the few deck chairs available (same on the private beach). The rooms were very noisy and we could hear a loud piping sound every time our neighbor from above was taking a shower.

Overall we found this place quite expensive for a 3/4 stars quality hotel.
