Amazing Apulit !
Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Had an amazing time at Apulit ! It is further away from the other El Nido resorts, but the service was just as good as the other ones,as expected !
Love that they are environmentally conscious ! They have an amazing wild life in the island.
There’s enough guided activities to do,staff were very friendly and attentive !buffet was good,But the drinks were a bit pricey...

Fantastic experience

We visited Apulit along with a couple of friends for 4 days in July.
We took a chance with the weather and were very lucky to get mostly sunny days!! It was raining the day before we arrived and the day we left!

The setting is spectacular with the sheer lime stone cliffs and the beautiful beach and water with all the hues of blue.

Snorkeling is great off the main beach and also from the villas near the West beach. Visibility was great. Only downside with occasionally choppy water and jellyfish larva but much better than expected for the season.

Rooms looked great- and the service was just spectacular. Everyone of the staff was super friendly and helpful. They set up a dinner in the beach for us, were very helpful in organizing activities (the corals off isla Blanca is the best I have ever seen) , and went above and beyond!
Food was very good and diverse.
Visiting during the calm season would be something else.
Very highly recommended!!

Once In A Lifetime with an amazing Guide
Reviewed 4 weeks ago

To say this was a dream vacation is an understatement of epic proportions. 3 generations got to experience El Nido in Apulit first hand, an ecologically friendly resort that catered to amazing experiences. Our tour guide, Benjie, was easily one of the main attractions. He did it all, providing insight into the wildlife and expert knowledge of the islands

Questionable value

We took the bus up from Port Barton to arrive at the Salle de Apulit at TayTay port by the scheduled time, but departure for the Apulit Island resort was delayed by the late arrival of fellow guests on the plane from El Nido. On arrival at the island, we were shocked to read the draconian privacy and liability policies that we were required to sign (we were required to provide birth, marriage and other personal info and to sign all rights to our privacy) and our passports were confiscated. There is free wifi but it is completely unsecured so my iPhone 8 refused to join it- the staff couldn’t resolve this problem so I was eventually given a separate portable (but nonfunctional) router.

The resort is laid out along the edge of a sandy bay on the SW coast of a small limestone island so if you are allocated a S water cottage, a visit here involves a lot of walking back and forth from one end of the resort to the other. The water cottage accommodation is of reasonably high standard, with balcony overlooking the Sulu Sea, although we usually had no hot water and very low water pressure, thus only cold showers (to be perhaps expected given the resort produces its own fresh water), our double bed consisted of 2 singles pushed together and the air conditioner dripped water onto the floor. The buffet food is nothing special, being similar for every meal, with no decent bread and limited fresh fruit (melon but no mangoes nor bananas) to select from. Disappointing.

The real attraction here is the island itself and nearby island attractions and the activities the resort organises. The resort has minimal impact on the island forest and wildlife and there are birds (kingfishers, eagles, seabirds), snakes and iguanas, and fish to see. We especially enjoyed the island caves exploration and the Isla Blanca and Nabat Island snorkelling trips, where the corals were amazing.

I can’t recommend staying here, but if you do, no more than 2 or 3 days is needed as it’s quite regimented (set meal times with limited food options) with limited activities. It’s also outrageously expensive and not good value for money.

Total Paradise!

I don’t know how will I start describing this incredible place.

We went here for our honeymoon/family bonding last 03July. Stayed here for not enough of 3D2N. Wish we had book longer.

Going here is not that easy because of limited flights, plus a quite long travelling time from El Nido Airport to the resort itself. But once you reached the resort, you will surely be amaze of the beauty of this Island. It’s really a TOTAL PARADISE!

A crystal clear water, a scenic view, a warmth staff & ofcourse a delicious foooods will welcome you. We booked the Loft Water Cottage that’s why we have a direct access to the sea where we can snorkle anytime we want.

Apulit Island offers also a complimentary activities where you can arrange ahead of time to the resort. We went to snorkle at Isla Blanca and a Cave Exploration where you can see also a small lagoon inside. Thumbs up to Ronnel, our guide!

Words cannot totally describe how we are so in love on ‘tis place because of it’s beauty! You’re one of the best Apulit Island!
