Both the perfect island to combine with a stay on Bali and a captivating destination in its own right, Lembongan offers picturesque shores, scenic bike rides and a simple, surf-centric way of life. It’s less about upscale resorts here, and more about traditional local style. At The Cozy Villas Lembongan, there are just eight low-rise villas, each with a tropical semi-open-air bathroom and a typical peaked ceiling.
If your plan is just to kick back and relax, you’re in luck. Lazy days are well catered for here, with a restaurant, bar, swimming pool and sun loungers available. Feel your shoulders drop as you kick back on your private balcony, or explore the best of the island without having to venture very far – famous Dream Beach is only minutes away.

The hut was lovely, with an outdoor bathroom that is basic but really fun to use. The bed was big and comfy, with a long mosquito net which was great. Mini fridge was super useful for storing water bottles. Pool in good condition and great after sweaty day. I would recommend to not eat dinner at the hotel. Instead jump on your moped and head to the amazing sushi restaurant Oishii or for cheap eats - turn left out of hotel, walk around corner and order from the limited menu at Dhipa Warung dan Shop. It is a tiny, family run warung that you have to be patient with but it is worth the wait.
