How to Get There
The Aliante is as far away from the strip as you can get. The very north end of Las Vegas. I do not recommend if this is the first time in Vegas. I have been going the LV for 25 years and frankly the Aliante was very a refreshing change of pace. Great looking place, very nice staff and very good restaurants with great happy hour specials. The pool is super with very comfy chaise lounge chairs. The rates are very reasonable. I will go back in the future.
We stayed at the Aliante because we needed a place in that area of Vegas. We had never been up there before and found it to be a nice surprise. It was quiet and relaxing when compared to other places in Vegas. There are quite a few restaurants. We ate at TGI Fridays (great service, decent food). There is plenty of FREE parking in the parking garage, but the parking lot in front of the hotel entrance was pretty full. It's in a nice, safe area so you don't have to worry about leaving your car parked in the lot. Security was there to check for keys before allowing people to go in the elevators in the hotel which was nice.
I love staying at the Aliante. It is less noisy, less stressful, and less crowded than the Strip casinos. Their Bingo room is smoke free and paper cards only. Their buffet is excellent, and their gaming is great. Rooms are large, modern and very comfortable. We will be back.
Booked the room through Expedia and had no problems. The room was what I expected. The refrigerator was a big plus. The pool areas were VERY NICE and hot tub was 24 hrs, liked that. Stayed there with my friend from CA and we both enjoyed the place. Ate at TGI Fridays. very good. Had drinks at one of the casino bars. Heather the blonde bartender on duty was amazing and helpful. Attentive to guests there.
Very nice hotel, 24hr hot tub, The attentive bartender Heather, would plan on staying again. Was very quiet, liked that.
My wife and I often stay in Vegas at the Boyd hotels. While staying at Sam"s Town we read about this property. We just made a quick visit - no over night.. We were hopeful looks great on the outside and offers golf. The inside was below our expectations. We traveled 30 minutes to find a huge boring floor with just a bunch of machines. The machines were boring. We were not impressed - played for an hour and left. Did not eat here, yet the eating options looked interesting. The gaming area , with the exception of the sports book, was boring
