one night stop over

Chose this hotel as our one night stop over whilst travelling between Death Valley and Bryce Canyon NP.
Located on the northern tip of Las Vegas this hotel was reasonably easy to locate despite local road works / diversions. Provided a welcome stop over after the heat of Death Valley and a little bit of luxury. Quite modern with good facilities including the much needed outdoor pool. That said don't expect too grand a pool its fairly small and is only four foot deep at its deepest so not much swimming to be had. Plenty of sun-loungers but the loud piped music poolside may not suit all tastes., and the free-way is not too far away either. We were not overly impressed with our choice of coffee stop located within the main building and this was despite a recommendation from the receptionist. Staff were all welcoming and friendly We were located on the seventh floor and in a quiet section of the hotel despite overlooking the free-way. Like most places here there is easy access to the casino.

Great place to enjoy a cigar off the strip Less expensive that on the strip where everything costs twice as much as normal. So far so good. It’s quieter here as well. Close but not too close. A much less expensive 4 star.

Family Fun Times 21+

Ok nice place but let’s get down to brass tacks. Room kind of small for $155.00 a night. Two queen beds and pillows like stone. Room was also dusty, curtain pull was falling off and the shower handle was also falling off. Bathtub was deep! so it was a little hard to get into and shower. The food court and restaurants were good. Casino was your typical ashtray and stunk like one too! If they just had a maintenance person that fixed the rooms I would have rated higher. Valet parking took all of the spots that were any good, and if you are handicap like I am you had to park far from the entrance and hoof it in. Total deal breaker. But overall I give three stars.
