Gorgeous hotel in Provence ..a few service issues
Reviewed 6 days ago

We spent 3 nights here . We took a 3 bedroom villa. I would sell my apartment in NYC and move into this Villa full time.
They forgot yes forgot to do turn down service the first night. They forgot yes forgot to wake us up for an early morning call to do a guided hike. They forgot yes forgot to book us a private tour at Chateau La Coste for wine tasting and art museum.
We arrived there and they had no record.
I was on vacation so i was very chilled.
We ate at the gastronomic restaurant with one Michelin star. Was incredible . We did a guided 40km bike ride as a family. We did cooking classes in Chateauneuf du Pape with wine tasting which was out of this world.
The hotel is gorgeous. There is so much to do in Provence. This is a 5 star hotel in every sense but for the forgetfulness.

Best in class!

Stunning property, hidden away in the middle of the Provence. Surrounded by a golf course, lots of olive trees and Provence typical gardens. The entire area is a heaven should one wish to relax. The hotel itself dosn't feel like a hotel at all, more like a private estate. From the valet service at check in when you park your car, to the dinner at the pool and the professionally mixed drinks at the bar...our stay was perfect! We had a junior suite with plenty of room to spend time. Overall design, materials used and finishing of the property is of very high standards, this includes the bedding as well as the bathroom amenities and towels to name a few. We had dinner at the one star Michelin restaurant and received excellent service and good, locally geared dishes...with the deserts being the best! The only 'negative' impression we had was that the rooms are relatively less insulated and noises/ voices from the adjacent rooms was very audible. Last but most important: The team at DM is outstanding and we have received fantastic, warm and sincere service! Thank you....

Wonderful stay in the Provence

Already prior to arriving at the hotel everybody was very helpful ensuring that my small dog and I had the perfect room at the resort. The hotel was fully booked, but you never felt you had to wait. The concierge was very fast trying to get me golf lessons and find options to eat outside. Every other day I had another present in my room.
Regarding restaurants - both are beautifully decorated and the staff is extremely pleasant. It was so nice that I could bring my dog everywhere. Food at L'AUPIHO was outstanding. Food options at the bistro were limited, but the team tried to fulfill any extra wishes. Breakfast was very good and typically French with cheeses, local sweets, fruits...a perfect start into the day. The team there was very welcoming. The bar and the pool team were very attentive, too. Unfortunately due to the weather it was not possible to enjoy dinners outside, but the bar team made an exception and I could eat there outside from the room service menu. I strongly recommend to sit outside. The atmosphere is just amazing.

Great hotel

Great hotel in a beautiful setting with very attentive staff. I have spent here with my family some days in May 2018 and this has been our second visit to La Domaine. Highly recommended. Rooms are spacious, breakfast excellent. Only thing I would like to see improved are the food options in case you won't go to the gastronomique restaurant. It'll be great if the bistrot could be open on all days and could provide a la carte options in the evening as well.
