How to Get There
A beautiful hotel in the middle of an amazing landscape.an exclusive resort with a beautiful beach. Staff excellent very helpful. We had a 3 bedroom villa with a private pool.
Highly recommended for exclusive occasion.
My husband and I stayed at Grand Resort Lagonissi June 5-11, 2019. We were invited to a wedding there the first two days, but we chose to stay longer to take a nice holiday. The place is magnificent, relaxing and picturesque. We stayed in a bungalow on the side watching sunset. The only small issue is that there you hear from afar the sound of cars on the highway. Next time I would stay in a bungalow on the other side. Otherwise, everything about it was superb. You are practically on the beach while in the room, and you step out to get a tan and a swim. The hotel staff are very friendly. Breakfast is lovely, great food and great scenery. We loved the seafood salad and the squid salad at the Mediterranean restaurant. We had dinner at Kohylia restaurant it was fabulous. I will always remember the sea-bream with truffle oil. Heavenly. All is on the pricey side of course but it is well worth it. Fantastic holiday.
I have been in this hotel just 2 days, but I wish to comeback here again!
Amazing! Wonderful view!! The hotel staff are the most beautiful people ever)) it was my birthday, they upgraded our room, and present me tasty birthday cake))it was very cute 💕
They took care about everything what I asked ) breakfast was also great, good coffee, fresh juices, nice food!
The most wonderful things for me, is there is no people on the beach!) clean cristal water, quite and very private!
Thx so much for amazing time!!!
This is certainly a place that seems to cater for all your needs in some style. Upon arrival we were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a beachfront Bungalow room. This was extremely well equipped, even boasting its own sauna. It was spacious, had a balcony and a sea view. The bathroom was capacious. Other rooms of a larger nature had their own infinity pools. The only thing missing was the ability to make tea or coffee. For this you either had to go to one of the restaurants/bars or call room service. This did not appeal first thing in the morning for my wife who needed a cup of tea.
The grounds cover over 70 acres and have villas, rooms and bungalows dotted all over the place. It was low season when we visited but I guess that even when full you would not feel crowded. there are 7 restaurants but only two were open when we were there. Lots of little beaches set around the site and very extensive gardens to walk around and enjoy. A truly splendid setting.
The breakfast was possibly the best and offered the most choice I have ever had in all my visits to Greece. The staff were all very efficient, very friendly and looked as if they really wanted you to have a good time. We had one meal in the Italian restaurant which was very pleasant but could not possibly justify the price of 150 Euro. We had ordered and paid for a bottle of water with our meal and had not finished it, but strangely we were not allowed to take it to our room with us for later...this should not happen.
While I am sure that the cost of maintaining such a large place, cost of staff and training etc etc must be large, I really found the prices asked to be over the top. One example will suffice..2 toasted sandwiches, two glasses of wine and a small beer cost 59Euro.
Cost of staing there aside, it was a lovely place.
A lovely place for a relaxing time, but you must be prepared for sky high prices.
Stayed here for my birthday, what should I say, they upgraded me to a villa, which was a great start, very attentive and polite staff right from the reception to bell boy to room service to the security, they do make you feel welcome and are very polite to help you all the way..
Breakfast is amazing, lots and lots of choices which sure boosts your energy through the whole day.
Beaches are amazing, especially the Grand beach, wow!
Rooms are very spacious, Absolutely 5 star!
Food at the other restaurants at the resort are amazing and are very authentic
Expensive, but worth every penny!
