The Bamboo Restaurant at The Naviti Resort Fiji is fantastic. The food was great and the staff even more so! The staff could not do enough for us, remembered our names and made us very welcome. They always thanked us for choosing Naviti and the restaurant. On our last night staff came around our table and sang to us! Amazing! Staff to mention in particular were Milly, Epa and Aggie!

Awesome getaway

We’ve just spent 9 nights in early June at the Naviti & have nothing but good things to say about the resort.

I’ll admit I was hesitant in the lead up to our trip when reading other reviews however having now experienced everything, I’ve no problems in recommending it at all.

Other reviews have mentioned issues like the buffet quality, repeated nightly entertainment, slowness of service & large number of kids/families impacting everything.
Yes-some of these occur but they really are small things in the big scheme-you’re there to relax & get way from reality. So soak up Fiji time, breathe & smile.

There can be holdups at the buffet for food-this will always happen when everyone descends at once...so go at different times...breakfast at 7am or 9.30 saw 10 people dining whereas 8-9.15 saw 100. Same thing happens at dinner time so work around it if you don’t want to wait.

We had no issues with the amount or quality of the food at any stage. Sometimes your first choice wasn’t there but it would be replenished fairly quickly.
Breakfast was same each day but had plenty of options from fruit, cereals, hot & cold savoury & sweet. How can you ever go wrong when you have a chef there making your eggs on demand.

The Bamboo & Talei restaurants were superb-food was brilliant & quieter than the buffet. You can access these on the all inclusive package so take advantage of it.
Also helps you only have one serve of dessert haha!

Only the main bar is open after 6 so service can be slow once the dinner guests arrive.
Be patient-the staff can only do so much but they are brilliant considering the pressure they are under & sadly, having to put up with comments they receive from disgruntled guests.

There are plenty of activities if you want to take part. Sometimes the weather cancels them-can’t blame the staff for looking after the safety of guests...though reading some reviews apparently you can.

The gym has sufficient equipment to cater for those needing their fix.
Kayaks & boards are available to use plus there’s plenty of places to walk both on land & in the water.

Our room was superb-ocean front burre room 704-was quiet & peaceful. Room was serviced each day with a message made from palm fronds & flowers always left-was a nice touch.

The staff are amazing-always smiling & willing to help.
While every one of them were helpful to us, we felt a special mention was worthy.
Adi & Epelli at Nukunuku-wonderful service, wonderful people!

Eva & Vika at the bar did a magnificent job & always great fun to chat to

The staff at Bamboo & Talei really knew how to make you feel special.

Lastly, but not at all least, the best golf instructor, Inoke.
Thank you for your time developing Sharon’s swing...you may have created a monster!

Wife's birthday trip

Where to start. The reception " bulla" a term heared many times though our visit and each time delivered with a delightful smile and a welcoming voice. Rooms on arrival made us feel at home. Beds were ample and bathrooms very clean. The most amazing part of the trip were the people. These wonderful and beautiful souls willing to make sure we were taken care of. My daughter treated like a princess. My wife the same. The local shopping trip was an experience. Great tour guide sikka??? Several rounds of golf for the week. Fantastic little course with the golf shop guy joining us for a hole he was Great laugh..never a shortage of food or things to do. The buffet was diverse with a wide selection for breakfast lunch and dinner. Different nights had different themes. The Grill was also quite good. The burgers and pizzas were great. Kayaking every morning followed by a gym session helped work the excess food consumption off. Even with check out today. We were driven to reception with our bags with the biggest smile ever. There are several team members there we have thanked personally. They know who they are. Amazing beautiful people who deserve all gods love and the best to them. Without these people our stay eould have not been as fulfilling. The grounds were kept to an immaculate standard. The facilities were plentiful. The food was great. The drinks kept flowing. (All inclusive is the way to go) but above all the wonderful Team made the trip whatv it was. As The old saying goes, (YOU GET BACK WHAT YOU GIVE) nothing but love and admiration for you all.

An amazing place to just sit back and relax. No need to go anywhere. Food and drink flowing all the time. The 'all inclusive' package is a must. The grounds are immaculatly kept and the staff were the friendliest people we have EVER met. We will be back
