Q! Hotel Maria Theresia
What We Love
- A stylish spa hotel in the Austrian Alps, set in a charming medieval town, with breakfast and moreThe hotel's ultra-modern interiors and chic spa area
- The many sporting activities you can try in the spectacular natural surroundings
- The historic center of Kitzbühel, with its sophisticated charm and many boutiques
The upscale resort of Kitzbühel is Austria’s sporting capital in the heart of the Tyrolean Alps and offers the perfect combination of traditional and modern culture, with some seriously spectacular scenery. The stylish Q! Hotel Maria Theresia boasts contemporary interiors, a luxe spa and close proximity to the boutiques and restaurants that line the town center.
Kitzbühel is best known as an elite ski destination but it shouldn’t be overlooked during the milder months – you can spend action-packed days mountain biking, swimming, playing tennis or hiking in the beautiful mountains and forests. The nearby Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith golf course is the best in the area, and there are three other clubs within easy reach if you want the luxury of choice.
How to Get There
We've been here before in winter and wanted to try it in summer and have stayed for 7 nights.
We have booked a standard double room but got upgraded to a superior double room which was spacious and newely refurbished. We appreciated that the room was located on the backside of the hotel - very quiet.
Staff was lovely and very helpful. Gave us good hints and info on hiking tracks and restaurants for dinner as the hotel's restaurant is only open in winter.
Breakfast was delicious with a large variety of hot and cold dishes. Coffee was good and they had a huge variety of bread.
We used the airport transfer so we didn't need any parking space. Reception helped us arranging our transfers - thanks again for that.
The hotel had a spa area with different saunas but we didn't use that.
Although it was very hot during our stay (33°C) the room was not too hot.
We'll be back in winter for skiing again.
Lovely staff, really tasty traditional food, but the room was horrible. We paid nearly 300 euros a night but see the photos and judge for yourself. It has not been reconstructed since the reign of Maria Theresia.
The Bar and the Reception are really beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable. Staff was great.
We went there a bit out of season, in between snow and hiking times so prices were very decent.
We would really consider it on our next visit to Kitzbuhel, probably to hit the slopes!
Excellent location, cosy atmosphere, the most helpful and cheery staff you could encounter. Relatively large rooms.
Quirky mix of old and new. You just can't go wrong with this place.
None of the somewhat haughty attitude of which there can be quite a lot in Kitzbuhel's establishments !
Go and enjoy !!
Just PERFECT!!! We loved it all! Wonderful people, warm atmosphere, very nice wellness, very nice breakfast:) We will come back for sure! People on reception were great, helped us with everything, treated us very nicely!
