The Lowdown

The upscale resort of Kitzbühel is Austria’s sporting capital in the heart of the Tyrolean Alps and offers the perfect combination of traditional and modern culture, with some seriously spectacular scenery. The stylish Q! Hotel Maria Theresia boasts contemporary interiors, a luxe spa and close proximity to the boutiques and restaurants that line the town center.
Kitzbühel is best known as an elite ski destination but it shouldn’t be overlooked during the milder months – you can spend action-packed days mountain biking, swimming, playing tennis or hiking in the beautiful mountains and forests. The nearby Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith golf course is the best in the area, and there are three other clubs within easy reach if you want the luxury of choice.

Elegant yet Welcoming

The Bar and the Reception are really beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable. Staff was great.
We went there a bit out of season, in between snow and hiking times so prices were very decent.
We would really consider it on our next visit to Kitzbuhel, probably to hit the slopes!

Well good!!!

Excellent location, cosy atmosphere, the most helpful and cheery staff you could encounter. Relatively large rooms.
Quirky mix of old and new. You just can't go wrong with this place.
None of the somewhat haughty attitude of which there can be quite a lot in Kitzbuhel's establishments !
Go and enjoy !!

Very nice!

Our stay at this hotel was lovely. It’s only a short walk away from the ski areas although you could take a ski bus if you’d like to skip the walk.
The bar area is very nice and there is plenty of seating available if you’d like to sit down and relax. The breakfast is also very nice. Lots of different food to choose from. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful.
The biggest flaw with this hotel is the dinner. The food was painfully mediocre and it was never something to look forward to.
The rooms are medium sized and they are very comfortable.
Q! Maria Theresia Hotel is a very nice hotel but you should probably have dinner somewhere else.

Good hotel but bring your own pillow

Great location to stay in Kitzbuhel. The good service and friendly staff adds to the experience. They split the Austrian double into single beds for our adult kids which I had been told by the Ski company was not possible. Very thankful for that. Food was great - very typical Austrian cuisine with a vegetarian option each night. Breakfast is the same each day but there is enough variety to choose from, even a juice machine to make fresh juice. The rooms are not all redecorated but are clean and well maintained. As noted in other reviews the heating is a bit high and it can be noisy to open a window. The spa facility is very nice. 2 Saunas, 2 steam rooms and plenty of relaxing space, all for no extra cost. Massages can be arranged in the afternoon and was very good. The only big problem we had was with the pillows. They are old and lumpy and when we asked for thicker pillows we were just given extra ones that were the same. We bought a new pillow in the bedding shop in town which was a very expensive solution. So bring your own pillow and it's a great place to stay.
