How to Get There
Layalina was a very lovely hotel, we had a beach view room with our own private rooftop. The breakfast included got brought to our room which was a great touch. The room had a very romantic feel and you could see the beach from the jacuzzi bath. They also provided a hammock that was comfortable to lay in and look out to the ocean. The staff and very helpful and even provided our breakfast earlier than 7am because we were to be picked up at 7.15am for a day trip. I highly recommend this hotel!
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a 3 week trip.
We had spent most of our time in Patong Beach madness so this place was perfect for pure relaxation on our last couple of days.
We booked the deluxe heaven suite and heaven it was! The room was big, the bed was comfy, the upstairs private rooftop was great for sunbathing and looking out across the beach. The spa bath was fabulous and the hammock provided for the balcony was a lovely little addition!
The hotel entrance from the street is hidden away and not the easiest place to find. But once you step into the hotel you see it’s located right on the beach front with a fabulous view!
There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Kamala Beach is very peaceful there aren’t many bars nearby so if you’re looking for a party it’s best to take a 20 minute taxi ride into Patong.
The breakfast had plenty of choice and you can choose to have it served in your room or down by the pool.
The staff were all lovely and couldn’t be more polite or helpful!
Overall it was a fabulous stay and I wish we could have stayed longer than 2 days!
Stayed for 2 nights at Layalina.
We chose this hotel because it is a halal hotel and of course it’s beachfront view. It is also close to shops and restaurants. Just steps away from the hotel.
We chose the private duplex heaven room which is located on the second floor. There’s a spiral staircase which leads up to the roof terrace where you can just bask in the sun or just sit in the evening to watch the sunsets which was simply beautiful.
Room was spotless even on the roof terrace itself. I’m not a fan of insects and what nots, this place has none of that which was super wonderful.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but good and you can order from them if you don’t feel like going out just to enjoy the view from the room which we really really did.
Menu stated order was from 12 - 4pm. We asked for it to be sent to the room much later around 8pm and they accommodated to our request. Price is also reasonable.
Will definitely come back again just for the view.
I am 76 years old at the time of writing this revue.
The entrance, well ,it gets much better the farther into the hotel you go.
My sister 81 and I had a ground floor room by choice. which was wonderful.
It was off season and quiet the pool small but very adequate. and only 8 steps from the room, the sea just a few more.Personally I do not see this hotel as suitable for children as there are no grounds the pool and the small dining area (two tables) take up all the outside space.
Breakfast brought to the room each morning and made to order.suited us admirably.
The beds were hard but that is Thailand, they were clean and sheets changed every day even though not needed.
The air con was very noisy and we turned it off at night, however the rooms were under going a renovation and revamp which I believe would fix this problem.
Everything one could want was within a very short walk. Unless you were looking for the high life then off to Patong it would be.
I would stay there again in heartbeat.
I may suggest that a hand rail be put outside each of the downstairs rooms on the steps from the balcony to the pool they are a little steep and I found it a dangerous.
Our stay was very pleasant and relaxing. Amazing beach views and 1 minute walk to the beach itself. The first floor duplex room was very clean and we had acces to the roof top. The breakfast was pretty good. 20 minutes away for Patong. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful stay on a beach front property, you may very well stay at Layalina.
Would sure be my choice of accommodation at the Kamala beach.
