Wonderful property!

Gorgeous view, amazing rooms, great spa.and the staff so helpful! Great property. Small, intimate, and very personal. Had breakfast on the patio and it was amazing. Spa is huge and underground. Really a cool space to get lost in(almost literally) .

Fantastic !

The castle is wonderful (the rooms, the views, the pool and spa...). The restaurant is also remarkable. Special thanks to the sommelier : we could taste excellent wines from the region. Overall, a fantastic stay.

Fabulous Venue & Fabulous Staff

Perched high on a hill near Alba, Barolo and Barberresco is this lovingly restored gem of a property. We had a corner suite which overlooked the Piedmonte countryside, was air conditioned and allowed our teenage daughter her own room and privacy. The all marble bathroom was large and fully modernized. The pool was accessed thru a cistern and restored tunnel system—very cool. The pool itself appeared cut from stone and had some neat water features. It stretched from indoors to outdoors and overlooked the valley. The breakfast room and robust continental fare were spectacular. The formal dinner restaurant is on a lower level (where the kitchen is) such that it doesn’t provide the type of grand views that other parts of the property do—the Dinner food was good but not great given the local choices. The staff was spectacular, helpful and professional. If your looking for elegance, quiet and a bit of seclusion, this is the venue for you!!

Castle in the wine country

Castle at the top of a mountain with gorgeous views of piedmont country side. Small number of rooms makes it a personalized trip with staff getting to know you & very helpfull with advise for touring the area. Updated modern comforts without spoiling the character of the castle decor/mood. Good restaurant with large wine list & breakfast is served in a gorgeous room or outside in the terrace with those views. Maybe not the ideal place for families with small children?

Amazing property. We were given an upgrade to a beautiful room. Very relaxing.
Loved the area. Great food.
We loved the greatness of the building and the original furniture.
I would recommend it to couples that are looking to have an intimate holiday.
It is fun to go for a walk or run around the countryside.
