Another Great Stay at Sky Beach
Reviewed 7 days ago

Simply cannot beat the value you get at Sky Beach Club. The cottages are as nice or better than the high end resorts on the Island for a third of the price. Modern comforts and amenities included in your room, a beautiful pool and hot tub and amazing beach-one of the best on the island! Friendly staff, sparkling clean facilities and great location make Sky Beach Club our go-to hotel on Eleuthera!

Stay at Sky Beach Club

I felt right at home with the locals, and the beaches. Pam was very helpful and informative in helping us get ready for our trip. We had an amazing time. The villa was perfectly located at the bottom of the hill, so we had complete privacy overlooking the beach, close access to Pascals and Sammy (the bar tender) with those amazing rum punches. We had a few maintenance issues which were taken care of immediately by Nick, allowing us to enjoy our vacation worry free. Can't say enough about the hospitality of this place. We will definitely be back.

Service leaves a lot to be desired

Always disappointed with this place. Service is poor despite the fact that you are charged an automatic 18% gratuity. The wait staff never smile, and always leaves the impression they are doing you a favor.

Our Recent Stay at Sky Beach Club

We love Eleuthera and rented a great house last year next to Sky Beach, but would frequent Sky Beach to swim and drink Sammy's Pina Coladas! We stayed at Coco Villa at SB, the house was large and modern with a full blown kitchen for meals. Very open and bright with great ocean views. We love the beach, bar, and overall property! We will definitely return!

A Great View and a Lot of TLC

Not a whole lot of middle ground with Sky Beach Club. This is a super property on a wonderful island that is being totally neglected. My guess is that the owners and sales staff are struggling, for some reason, with the property. Let me start with the cons. The road on the property is so bad that you have to navigate it, swerving from one side of the road to the other to avoid the horrendous potholes; some taxis refuse to drive it. The property needs major upkeep and refreshing: our washer drum was off-center so laundry was not possible; one the A/C units was leaking water down the wall; many tiles were broken in the pool; the infinity overflow pool was not working at all nor was it being cleaned so ours contained a coconut, 2 dead rats, 1 dead frog, and some other detritus. We point blank asked the sales office prior to arrival if there were chairs and umbrellas on the beach. Knowing that we were a group of 14, we were told yes, chairs and umbrellas at the beach. Sadly, the beach had 4 chairs and 1 frayed palapa that had been stripped of all fronds. We saw guys with machetes hacking away at the oleander and trying to maintain the place but it needs serious, serious attention. Having said that, the property is on a lovely, uncrowded beach, the swim up bar and pool area are not overwhelming, the food at Pascal's is actually quite tasty, staff are super friendly. The villas themselves were well made at the outset with every room en suite, nice linens and tons of amenities like beach towels and soap/shampoo, etc. Cleaning staff came every two days and they were so nice! Villa appointments like the furniture and appliances in the kitchen are really good. Although it would be good to have more then one dish towel! The views are spectacular. We had a great time here overall and the on-site staff could not have been nicer. But if you opt to book here, know that this is a quiet place, not a hot spot, so if you coming to look all cool and hip, this is not the place for you! If you are coming to relax with not a lot of who-ha then you might like it here. Just be sure some of the updates have been done first. And bring bug spray! The mosquitos are awful. Finally, the island has its own issues in that a few times we lost power and water pressure isn't great; these are not really the fault of the property. They do have a generator at the pool area so you can still get your frozen drinks and food at all times. And if the owners are reading this: either fix the place up or sell it but stop messing around because you are killing a good thing!
