How to Get There
We spent there only one night and it was a pity !!!!! The room was big, comfortable and with a great sea view on the Cetara beach; breakfast was rich and tasty, served on the terrace. The pools are amazing!!!!
We booked few days in advance for a late August 4 nights break. The pools are pretty good considering the small set up especially the adult ones that offer great views of the bay. We had some basic rooms which were clean a bit small bit functional. The air conditioning has a timer and it is off between 9 and 1400 and even when set at 16 only gets the room to 26C which is fine as Ischia doesn’t really get too hot. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but offers a decent breakfast continental plus eggs and salami. The cafe offers decent snacks at prices that are fair. Location wise the hotel is superb overlooking the bay you have stunning sunsets and you are close to Poseidon gardens if the hotel facilities are not enough but more importantly to a stream of beach restaurants that offer good choice plus market area etc.
Staff very attentive definitely recommended we will go back again
A lovely place to stay. It had a family run feel, set in lovely greenery and although full, it never felt it. The rooms are basic and clean, great tiles, a little dated but in a nice way! We had a balcony with sunset views. Shutters and air con made for a restful sleep.
Staff couldn’t be nicer, from reception to breakfast staff to gardener. Breakfast basic but ample.
Be aware you need a swimming cap in the pools which have great hydro jets.
You are within walking distance of beach and restaurants. Even in July we always got a table and local wine is worth a try.
Would definitely recommend it as a good 3 star hotel.
The hotel was very nice. We stayed 5 days. I wish I had booked the hotel longer.
There's only one thing that I don't understand: there are 3 outside swimming pools. Two of them are not accessible in the bace price because they belong to the wellness. That's regrettable. A bubble bath is nowadays normal in a hotel.
We stayed here at the end of May. I was very pleased with my choice. I wanted to be near the Poseidon water park and the Semiramis is in walking distance. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. The grounds and pool are lovely and clean. I loved looking at all the different plants and flowers. We had a sea view room and this meant walking up a ramp or taking stairs. It was convenient for the breakfast area though. I loved looking out from the room's patio area to see the little mountain and sea and enjoy the sunset.
I personally thought the breakfast had a good choice of breads, cheese, sliced meats. They had boiled and (sometimes) scrambled eggs. I also really appreciated the ricotta cheese, which I had with fruit. There were lovely cakes and crostata as well. The coffee was fine and, yes, they will make you an espresso or cappuccino if you want.
Super convenient for the bus station (just down a somewhat steep ramp from outside the hotel). From going down the ramp make a left and walk down to the Poseidon thermal water park. You can also take the little road and that will take you to the piazza, where there are a couple of cafes, convenience stores and a mini-market, which was handy for food and other things like sunscreen.
There is no restaurant at the hotel, but there are quite a few down by the beach. Most offering discounts for hotel guests.
My only negative was the mattress. Ours was tired and need to be changed.
