The hotel is surrounded by parks and abundant greenery, and situated a short amble from the historic resort town of Forio and just 600 metres from the calm shores of Chiaia. How to Get There
This hotel might only be a 4 star, but its staff make it a 5 star plus. The main receptionist is second to none, she arranged my wifes birthday meal at an amazing restuarant by the sea. The Dining room matra-de he was again amazing ran the dining room like a well oiled engine, nothing was a problem to him. Some of our friends joined us for lunch no probs.
So we had an amazing time because of the service, thank you all.
My only slight critism was the bathroom where there was broken floor tiles, which you had to becareful of, and the mastic around the shower bottom look old and needed redoing
My husband and I, together with our 9 year old son, have just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel. We have only ever stayed in villas abroad so were a little anxious about what it would be like staying in a hotel. We had a lovely time - from the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and during our stay nothing was too much bother for the staff. Angela deserves a special mention here as she was wonderful and our son was rather smitten! The grounds and pool were lovely and not too busy, which was one of the things we were concerned about. We only went for the bed and breakfast option as we wanted to try a wider range of restaurants whilst away but the two lunches and one dinner we had here were lovely. Breakfast on the terrace each morning was a great start to the day. Lots of people have mentioned the road and, yes it is busy and typically does not have a pavement in places but it is perfectly safe to walk along if you are sensible. Alternatively the hotel’s shuttle service is an excellent addition and we took advantage of it a few times. Three nights there was entertainment - not our cup of tea but fun to watch, very civilised and over by 11pm! The one thing that left something to be desired was housekeeping. Our mini bar (water, soft drinks etc all reasonably priced) was only restocked twice despite being told that it would be stocked every day. We also only had clean mugs given to us once and, for the last few days, the two precious tea bags were not replenished. Being English we didn’t like to make a fuss - I am sure it would have been dealt with if we had but we didn’t like to make a scene at the time. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay - we are now learning Italian so we can communicate a little better next time we visit! Grazie e Ciao!
Me and my husband came to visit Ischia for 7 days and we had a wonderful time. We couldnt have asked for anything more. Customer service was amazing, all the staff were very friendly and made us feel at home right away.
The food was delicious and fresh every single day with lots of choice, especially where we do not eat Pork, we were always offered alternatives. I would recommend this holiday to all families, couples and friends that want a relaxing and fun time away on an Island! :)
