Sprawling spa towns, verdant scenery, picturesque villages and better beaches than Capri – that’s what you can expect from the enchanting volcanic island of Ischia, which sits at the northern end of the Gulf of Naples. Situated in a peaceful, charming Italian town, Hotel Parco delle Agavi is the perfect resort for a bliss-filled holiday.
The hotel is surrounded by parks and abundant greenery, and situated a short amble from the historic resort town of Forio and just 600 metres from the calm shores of Chiaia. The interiors are full of charming Mediterranean touches and character, while outdoors you can enjoy sweeping views of Mount Epomeo.
When you’re not cooling off with a dip in the sea, reclining in the Jacuzzi at the spa, exploring the Medieval and Baroque traces in Forio or admiring a beautiful sunset, the onsite restaurant is there to tempt your palate with fresh Italian flavours and authentic local specialities.
How to Get There
Spent 3 days at this gem of a hotel. It was spotless in all areas and our room was done every day even on the Sunday. Special mention to Luigi the barman and his sister on reception who despite being constantly under pressure dealing with other guests made our stay there memorable and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was good plenty to choose from to start you off for the day. The staff in dinning room were excellent and nothing was a bother. We will return one day I'm sure.
A lovely pool and the hotel is in a good position set well back from the busy main road. The staff are all extremely pleasant. Our room was small but overlooked a quiet area of garden with deckchairs and a view of Monte Epomeo. The food was good and we appreciated the waiter service very much which avoided having to get up and down between courses. We stayed ten nights in October and the weather was beautiful. There is plenty to see and do on the island. My only dis-satisfaction would be with the loud noise level in the underground dining room. otherwise it was a most enjoyable holiday.
This is a wee gem hidden down a wee drive just off main road.it has it all and very friendly.the island is not very big but its full of beauty, and things too do. I would defo recommend the 3 day bus ticket for €12 and use it often dont travel between 1pm snd 2pm coz the school kids use the bus service and everyone crambs onto the bus, lots of love restaurants and snacks.the red wine i can recommend, eaten alive by midge type mozzies beach beautiful lots of posh yachts
Stayed ten nights from 7th July 2018 and found the hotel to be relaxing, comfortable and extremely good value. The location is the only drawback as it is off a very busy road approximately half a mile from Forio but once in the complex everything is very clean, well laid out and welcoming. The outdoor pool is stunning with Mt Epomeo as a backdrop. The staff are the most impressive asset of the Parc and nothing is too much trouble for any of them and all have a smile on their faces and a cheery word for everyone at all times. The food is of a reasonable standard but somewhat boring to eat on a half board basis. Would recommend the hotel for a quiet and relaxing break.
Lovely hotel, staff went well above the call of duty to meet your every request, pleasant and friendly. Food was excellent, accommodation though a little dated, was spotless and housekeeping daily. Lovely pool area, good hotel location, excellent service from free hotel shuttle bus, on request almost. Bus service regular and cheap. Ischia is a beautiful island!
