How to Get There
Good location with lot of restaurants and shops around, though most are chains. Staff is very friendly. The rooms are large though fairly dated. the bathroom could def use an upgrade but it wasnt bad. breakfast is not included unless you have access to concierge lounge. valet and self parking.
If you're looking for a hotel with a big room with current fixtures, but not thought out and unfriendly staff, then this is the place for you.
Room was huge. We could have put another king bed in the living room part of the suite. However, the couch is not a pull out sofa and they were out of roll-a-ways. So we pushed the two parts of the couch together to make a bed.
Despite all the space, the armoire i.e. standing closet is right next to one of the beds - so close that you have to put yourself in the corner basically before you can open the door to get your clothes, grab your clothes and then shut the doors before walking away otherwise you are trapped.
The lighting was great during the day i.e. lots of natural light, but at night i.e. when you had to use the lights, it was quite poor - couldn't see much.
No in-room fridge.
Everything is really high including the sink.
Everything looks super nice - it just isn't thought out in a way to be functional.
Oh, and the valet guy is always upset; especially if you self-park (which is 50 feet from the entrance). Your first impression of the hotel is this guy telling you rudely to move your car when you're checking in. Front desk staff isn't any better - a kiosk would be more helpful.
And breakfast is extremely expensive.
Outdoor pool has some nice cabanas. Free bottled water in the room if you are a Marriott bonvoy member.
I stayed for a business trip and had the best time. The lobby is phenomenal and carries a great vibe. I worked with Shaune and she has to be one of the greatest humans on this Earth. She is awesome. They have a delicious breakfast in the morning and one of the staff, Javon was superb! He is kind, friendly and always made sure that my coffee was fresh and he even had a to-go cup ready for me and my long day. Le Méridien is a great spot with great people.
