How to Get There
Had a great stay for a 2 night break - despite a couple of issues, the staff were very much on the ball, and had great internal communications which helped to resolve these issues and made our time there very enjoyable. In particular, the Reception Managers, Richard, Nathan and Jess were outstanding, as were Sam and Deborah in the Restaurant.
The rooms are well appointed, and the suite has ample room, albeit somewhat noisy on party nights. The newly refurbished wing is great. Ample parking is available. Restaurant food and drink choice is great, and the chefs and staff very responsive.
The location is lovely, in well maintained gardens and space, and close to nearby walks and parks. Solihull town centre is only a few minutes drive.
We use this venue slot for aour business meetings. They have a great variety of meeting rooms, from 6-8 people, we have used rooms up to 30, but can get larger ones!
Food and service is ways good!
It is a great location, just off the m42, and only a short taxi ride from Birmingham airport, so those travelling by train or plane can get there easily
The hotel itself and the grounds look beautiful, the staff very polite and welcoming and the room very comfortable. Sadly this was let down by really dreadful delays in the restaurant and small things that just added to that. The shower not working properly, and the Wifi being horrendously hit and miss. Waiting an hour for a main course is totally unacceptable even if the food is great the delay ruins the experience. Breakfast wasn’t much better and worth the wait. A shame as this should be a really good hotel.
