Beautiful island, comfortable, friendly staff, giant clam, and sea turtle
Reviewed 5 days ago

If I knew this island's so beautiful, I would have stayed more than 2 nights. The beach front cabin we got was nice, wonderful to wake up in the morning and jump straight (well maybe 10 steps of walk) to the beach for a swim / snorkel. The cabin we got however was a little small (we got 1001, the first cabin from the reception).

I did 2 scuba dives there and was lucky enough to see 2 sea turtles. One was busy eating the sea grass and the other was swimming up to the surface (amazing sight, wish I had a camera). My dive buddy was Daniele, he was super nice and he knew all the amazing sea creature spots. Aside from the turtles, he showed me the 80 year-old giant clam, electric fish, etc (I did not see the blacktip shark). The nice thing about diving here was that I could go anytime I liked, the dive site was around the island and no boat needed. I did one around lunch time and another at 6:30 am. Many guests also saw the sea turtles when they snorkeled.

The breakfast buffet selection was good and tasted good in general. Staff were friendly and helpful. I also like the daily rotating Filipino sweets delivered to the room.
The staff stayed up as late as guests wanted to drink. There is a Karaoke room for guest to use and it was free. All the snorkel and kayak gears were free too.

The resort also did not offer transport service to Coron town for free, only to the airport. If you want to be dropped off at the Coron town, you have to get a private van with them for 2500 PHP. I just got a private Van at the airport for 1200 PHP after they dropped me off there. But I thought Club Paradise should have offered something more reasonable for the convenience of their guests. That alone almost made me giving 4 stars review but I only had fond memories there, so keep 5 stars.

We would love to visit here again if we have the chance. The other minor issue I had there was being charged mini bar that I did not consume, but they took it out from my final bill immediately when I told them.

We are very pleased to have stayed at this awesome place and experience a world class service you can only in the Philippines. The tours they offered us especially the coron island tour were excellent tipped off with the care that Kuya Cards gave us were just fantastic. The front desk Ate Pam and Ate Louise were always there to provide us with world class service. The Fire Restaurant provided with excellent choices you can get from a private island service. Thank you again Club Paradise!

A pleasant island just for us

In May 2018 we stayed in this Hotel for four nights.

The first thing we loved was the fact that we had a private boat directly to the island.

Upon arrival we were imediatly marveled with the colours of the sea mixed with the sand (turquoise blue).

We stayed on a beach hut (sunset villa standard). This hut although small, had everyhting we need, namely, the beach at a doorknob and the sea at 10 steps away.

We had one or two initial problems, that were quickly and professionally handled by Joegil - Manager (very friendly and professional).

Not only do you have one entire, very calm island just for yourself, and you can snorkel all around it, all day, all the time, everywhere without getting bored.

Since we are divers, we decided to try the hotel dive resort, and we were not disappointed one bit. We recommend doing at least three dives in thi beautiful island (Thank you very much Dhadz for showing us the best spots and diverse marine life, such as electric clams and giant clams)

Since we were on our honeymoon we have asked for the Anti-Stress massage, which was performed by a highly skilled professional (Errica Rabino). We recommend the spa under the supervision of Trinie. We left the spa younger and relaxed.

We would like to thank to Peter, from Front Desk who helped us to obtain our return transportation to our next hotel.

The club paradise resort is situated on a hidden island with all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. The staff there are so helpful, knowledgeable, honest and kind. They treated us like we are family. Foods are great, modern room amenities with a traditional Filipino themed cabins and architecture. Will recommend this to everyone

Okay for the price.

Gorgeous beach, inviting pool. Ala carte food was tasty, but for some reason everything, from the vegetable dishes to the meats and seafood, seemed TOO tasty, too salty, too decadent. Projects luxury and quiet, but we got a different feel. It had more of a beach party vibe than a relaxing nature getaway, with their seaside soirées and club music. Not exactly what we were looking for.
