How to Get There
i love davao as i love their hospitality and service. all the time i feel amazing in davao. see u soon davao again. its a really nice hotel. bit expensive but good to pay with amazing staff and amazing service
We chose the Marco Polo to be the venue of an important event. At the day of the event, the airconditioning unit of the function room - at the second floor malfunctioned and we were not offered any alternative. We have to cut short the program, eat a hurried lunch and all left with a not-so-pleasant experience of being in a very hot function room in business attire on a hot day.
I was overall impressed with the Marco Polo Hotel. The employees were kind and helpful and there was plenty of security. The area around the hotel was not so great and we often took a taxi to other parts of Davao to do things or eat. Here are the areas I believe they can improve: 1) The breakfast food in the buffet should be kept hotter than it was; 2) We found bugs in the room. To the credit of the staff, they did address this quickly. They came in and pulled the place apart and sprayed; 3) In the room make sure to clean around the bed under the headboard there were some cobwebs and; 4) Warn those in room near the bar and church. Both of these make noise until after midnight.
