What We Love
- A relaxing country hotel and spa, with breakfast, a spa discount and optional dinnerGoing for a post-treatment stroll down to the glassy lake and taking in some fresh country air
- Heading into Birmingham to shop or exploring the pretty town of Royal Leamington Spa
- Tucking into expertly cooked British classics in the hotel's Brasserie
Set within 83 acres of leafy grounds and landscaped gardens, you’d hardly guess that Ardencote in Warwick was just a 40-minute drive from Birmingham. Perfectly located for combining a shopping trip with a soothing spa break, this four-star hotel is a gorgeous red brick building, trailing with ivy and perched on the edge of a large lake.
The elegant spa offers a sleek, modern space for treatments and the extensive leisure centre has an indoor and outdoor pool, open seasonally due to the good old British weather. There are also squash courts, tennis courts and an 18-hole golf course to get stuck into.

How to Get There
We stayed here for our anniversary 8/9/19. The rooms were lovely, dinner was beautiful! Afternoon tea was also lovely, breakfast could of been a bit better it was obvious the food had been sitting out for a while but it still tasted good.
The staff in the restaurant could not of been more helpful and friendly for breakfast lunch and dinner.
The only one complaint we had was for after dinner drinks we were asked to move from the brasserie bar to a different bar near reception we waited at the bar there for 15 minutes to be served, a lady staff member came behind the bar poured herself a drink then disappeared. After 15/20 minutes we gave up and left. Only thing stopping it being a 5 star!
The rest of the stay and the grounds were amazing! Worth a stay
The arrival and check in to the spa was fine. It would have been nice to have bigger robes but oh well. Then on the changing rooms which were large but a long way from the spa and you had to share with leisure members.
The Spa itself had lots of good rooms (2x Saunas, Steam room and taperium with 2 relaxation rooms). However some of the room were small and did get crowded. The outdoor pool was closed but the large outdoor hottub was incredible.
Lunch was a good quality buffet but still not as good as off menu choice.
Our back massages were very good and the staff were great.
In the afternoon, we went to the leisure centre with indoor pool steam room, suana and jacuzzi. It was slightly dated but very very good.
Overall good spa need some improvements with larger robes and bigger rooms.
Perhaps another wet element inside as well.
We had an amazing spa break at Ardencote Manor Hotel. The new facilities at the Destination Spa surpassed our expectations. This hotel is incredible value for money.
We had a great time trying out the new saunas, steam room, foot spa etc. We enjoyed the pumpkin back wrap and Autumn glow facial. The spa staff were brilliant.
We had a lovely dinner and lunch at the hotel and we cannot fault the food of the service.
I am going to recommend Ardencote to all my friends!
