How to Get There
LOVED THIS PLACE! All the staff are so friendly! Clean and the rooms are great. Shuttle bus every half hour to catch beach club is fantastic. Breakfast was wonderful, can't fault this hotel, we'll be back!
This place is lovely, a blissful place to chill out and across the road from beautiful Surin Beach. It is quiet and peaceful at night, we loved it. What makes this place special is the staff, everyone of them are warm and friendly. A special thanks to Khun Bao who made our stay at the beach so comfortable with mattress’s and a lift back to the hotel in the buggy with our tired toddler!
The rooms are nice and clean. I personally wouldn’t spend the extra on the ‘private pool’ you are in view of everyone and only a metre from the main pool. We also felt our balcony room had more privacy than those on the ground floor.
Save money and enjoy a 400THB massage on Surin Beach! What better view!! I would say this hotel is more suited to couples but kids would still have a great time there. We would certainly return! Thank you 😊
With the hotel limousine, we arrived at the hotel safely. We went to check-in. It was very calm and peaceful there with many friendly staffs greeted us. The check-in went smoothly with the professional Front Desk team while you were enjoining the welcome drink, Sparkling wine with raspberry. (Khun Jaew and her manager Khun Jeab whos taking care of us is very nice, sweet and humble)
The atmosphere in the hotel makes you feel like you are home. An enormous pool would 100% surprise you (I wish they could throw the pool party sometimes lol), and the room was feel with warmth. You can choose your own pillows, scent and flower in your room with the Concierge & Guest Experience team whos taking care of the library (tons of book and movies that you can borrow ❤️).
In the room, the bed was so comfy even our room didn't have a bath tub. We didn't mind at all. It was replaced with a strong rain shower which I love so much.
During our short stay we had met Khun Maggie several times. She was excellent and super friendly! I could tell that she know almost everything in the hotel and places nearby. First, we don't have any idea where to go and where to eat. So we ask her opinions where should we go, and then you have never imagined. Tons of recommendations are out from her! Like... Is she the Wikipedia of Phuket or some kind like that!? Very impressed.
If I had a chance to come back to Phuket or someone ask me about the recommendations for the hotel or resorts in Phuket, I would love to recommend Twinpalms Phuket to them
Thanks for giving us such a pleasant, peaceful vacation!
Me and my husband stayed for 13 days between end of December and January at this wonderful resort. What impressed us the most was the staff. We were with our 11 months old daughter and because of this matter we had more requests than an average guests. Needless to say we were always promptly accommodated. Special thanks to the Manager, to Maggie and to Katie, always sorting things out with a smile.
About the hotel: probably its only drawback of this 100% foreign owned resort is that it doesn't have a private beach. Apparently, Twin Palms used to have it but they lost it. I do not think the hotel is misleading in the promoting, right since we booked, we understood that we will not have the beach 2m away from our room. However, they own 3 beach clubs, out of which we visited the 2 nearby to Catch (not a big fan but very nice food) and the very pretty HQ. Should you wish to enjoy the beach experience right in the vicinity of the hotel, these is the nice Surin beach, 3 minutes (a butler can bring with the golf car) but it is swamped with tourists. Surprinsingly, we enjoyed a lot lying by the lovely hotel pool given 'our standards' haha (at home we live in front of a Mediteraneean beach). The food was absolutely delicious (and not that expensive), including the one at the pool, literally something for everyone. We also enjoyed the NY buffet, an immense variety.
When it comes to charging, I don't find the hotel misleading. I read about people complaining here but when we were introduced to our room, we were exactly told what was complementary and what was not, moreover, every bill specified the 10% hospitality charge and VAT,
When it comes the rooms, we had a double deluxe palm bedroom which felt nice (the closet would get a funky smell because the humidity), in no way 'clinical' as other people referred to. Cleaning was very good and prompt. Breakfast was varied, the Asian dishes would change every morning and coffee was very good too, we loved out espressos.
Overall, we were very happy with the resort, we hope to be back soon! it was a wonderful holiday!
We only spent two nights in Phuket but our stay at the Twinpalms was magical. The rooms are very spacious with an incredibly comfortable bed and hygienic, modern bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We found the atmosphere very romantic, however there were also several families there so it was a good environment for kids too. The beach restaurants are a little pricier, however the food is delicious. I particularly recommend the Phuket Experience platter at the Palm Seasides restaurant, but be prepared for an enormous amount of food.
