How to Get There
Stayed for my 40th last night room was quite dirty. Marks on the doors, the tiles in the bathroom had limescale on them plus marks in the bathroom floor. Only plus point was the location and the views.
Had a great stay at the Clayton on Friday. Smooth check in and a friendly receptionist. She told us we had been upgraded to the executive suite as I had asked for a lower floor. This was a nice suprise. Room was fantastic there was a coffee maker tea facilities robe slippers hairdryer and fridge. Bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in. There was a great view over the city. Cannot comment on breakfast or any food as we ate out. There is no car park but there is plenty of parking all around the hotel. We had a great stay it is in a good central location to visit Cardiff. It is near the train station and road but there was hardly any noise from outside. Would certainly stay here again.
Great location close to railway station and city centre. Very comfortable 1 night stay, room was modern and very clean. Didn't eat or use the bar in the hotel so cannot comment. Staff very friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay here again.
My partner had booked this trip for my Xmas present to watch bullet for my Valentine. When on arrival was treated with a warm welcome. We arrived early and was pleased to have my bags looked after whilst we looked around the city. We came back and what a view from the hotel. The food was amazing and drinks of course too. The bed was comfy the bath was hot and even sky in the room. Will be back in jan and March. Thanks for making this experience one not to forget. If you want a fantastic hotel pick this one.
Me and my friends recently visited this hotel for a stag do, the hotel was immaculate and had everything we needed for the weekend. We were a little surprised by the £100 deposit on each room but understood that if the room was left in a reasonable state we were to get the £100 back.
Most hotels we have been to split us up, as a group of 9 can be quite daunting, but our rooms were right next to each other and right outside the lifts where we could cause minimum disruption. The rooms were clean and had most amenities you would expect in a hotel.
After a night out there would be a security guard with a list of rooms and the people in the rooms. So no one could gain access without proper authorisation.
The breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable.
Overall, the Clayton hotel was perfect for our needs, yes there is no car park but Clayton hotel have adapted to this and work alongside a nearby ncp car park at £10 a day which is reasonable.
We really enjoyed our stay.
