Relaxed, out of the city oasis

My family and I, stayed 8 nights, in a 2 bedroom pool villa, at this beautiful resort.
Nature and tranquility were perfect. We enjoyed every single minute of our stay.

The pools and restaurants are spread out over the mountain if you don’t want to walk there are enough hotel Tuk Tuks available to drop you at the desired destination.

Trips to old Phuket, the weekend market, upside down house, big Buddha, snake show,.... will take you about 30 min. Advisable is to book a local taxi that drives you around for half a day or day.

The restaurants of the hotel serve different cuisines ( local, European, Japanese, Chinese,...) and all of them were good.

The views from Baba nest are amazing but don’t forget to book it in advance

Around the hotel you have a couple of eateries with good and cheap local food. The coffee house( Kantry?)especially serves some excellent crepes and smoothies.

Amazing experience!

We stayed at Sri Panwa for 2 days from our business trip! It was the most romantic stay for us. Beautiful resort and very nice people. Service at it's best! The villa with private infinity pool with birds and sea sound was something heavenly. Food is amazing. Loved the place. Baba nest was disappointment for us as it was cloudy but it's definitely beautiful to go there once. We did room service from baba soul once, very good food.
The only thing is, all shampoo, body lotion, soap bar etc are mint flavor and we didn't like all minty feeling, it's subjective hence didn't take the star away.
We did do couple's spa treatment, it was amazing.
Overall, it's a pricey place but if you want couple's private time at paradise, this is the place!

Beautiful Hotel with amazing views, but poor Service for Luxury resort
Reviewed 7 days ago

Me and my Partner decided to stay at this property for our anniversary. The hotel is absolutely beautiful . The rooms are very luxurious, amazing views all around. However, for this price point ($600+ aud/per night), the customer service is extremely lacking. Many of the employees do not speak english. We started our stay with having lunch at the Pool Bar Restaurant while our room was being prepared. I had ordered the chicken burger and my girlfriend ordered a chicken club sandwich. They were both awful, it was chicken thigh in both, had skin on it as well. My gf was not able to even touch hers because the meat was so dark and fatty. The service was super slow as well. When the server came by to collect the dishes, we let him know that she was not able to eat her food because it was chicken thigh with skin in a club sandwich and she did not like that. we were not even offered a replacement dish. When the bill arrived, they had also not taken it off the bill. I told the server and he said because the dish was charged, they have to charge it. It was absolutely bizarre as we were paying almost $700/night to be there and never expected this poor of a customer service. We finally got out room, the front desk reception were very nice and asked about our lunch experience, we had told them what happened. We got to the room and it was breathtaking. Gorgeous views. Beautiful room and very luxurious, it compared to 6-star and 7-star resorts we had stayed at before in dubai. Later the food manager came to our room and offered an 18% discount off our lunch, i was absolutely shocked, that they offered a $5 discount from our bill for the sandwich that my gf didnt eat. i was insulted, and explained why it was so wrong to offer a $5 discount to a guest staying at a hotel at this price point. I could tell they were trying so hard to help, but they just lacked the proper standards of customer service at a 5star luxury resort. Food in general was overpriced and poor quality. The rooms are gorgeous and luxurious, well maintained and breath taking views. They even have a bose sound system with an iPod dock for you to enjoy. The rooms are well isolated as well with no noise coming from outside. If the service was improved and the food was improved, i would give this resort 6 stars!

-beautiful rooms
-comfortable bed and beddings
-rooms noise proof and excellent isolation.
-gorgeous views all around the hotel
-many swimming pools
-game room which was well equipped( pingpong, pool, air hockey, foozball)
-friendly staff
-good breakfast with good variety.

-None of the pools are heated, freezing cold water, couldnt even use the pool in room balcony
-customer service is very poor, specially at this price point.
-service at the restaurants is extremely slow.
-staff are friendly, but lack experience in hotel service, resulting in inadequate service for a 5star luxury resort.
-Food is of average to poor quality, especially for a luxury accommodation.
-Food is extremely overpriced, especially for a resort in Thailand. Be prepared to spend +$80-100 per person on dinner.

Go there for the view, skip the food

Fantastic and luxurious pool villa with view. You don't want to leave the house.
Very service minded and nice staff.
Profiled for young hip asian people.
Downside is the food that does not keep the standard at all. We have had fries made with old oil, breakfast that was next to bad ( the european dishes ), pizza that is worse then you buy from the supermarket, hard boiled egg benedict, etc etc. The price is high and the standard VERY low on at least the european dishes.
There is LOUD music everywhere, and they can't lower it, so if you want a quiet place you have a problem.
The beach is only reachable by very steep and long stairs. Nothing for people with bad knees, heart conditions etc.
The rest of the area is serviced by buggies.
If you want to visit the nest and look at the sunset, you have to make an early reservation. We stayed for 4 nights and did not manage to get a " table", which was just as good because you sit on cushions on the floor. All very nice if you are 30, but not manageable if you are 60.

My advice is; go for the location and the nice view, don't eat there and don't buy a room with breakfast.
You have plenty of places to eat at just outside the hotel.
