Perfect stay in lovely pool villa with large pool and sea view

We had an excellent stay at the Amatara Wellness Resort. The resort is around 1hr away from the Phuket airport, it takes a bit of time to get there but it is really worth it. The resort offers an excellent service, the guest are very well treated with special attention. We stayed at a beautiful private ocean pool vila for 6 days, which is an excellent choice to relax and have some private time in the villa. The villa offers a big pool with straight view on the sea, so the perfect place to stay and relax. I always would go back to the same place and book a villa a again. We really enjoyed the stay..

Great Resort with Amazing Views

The resort has one of the best views in Phuket. The facilities are great and the location is also very good. Below are the pros and cons of the resort

1. Amazing views
2. Great views and facilities. I stayed in the pool pavillion villa which was bug and pool was fantastic and had great views.
3. Spa: one of the best spas in Phuket
4. Staff is sweet and friendly

1. The food options are limited. However its wellness resort. The minibar is also stuffed with healthy snacks instead of standard snacks like pringles.
2. I found the resort slightly pricey in F&B and Spa. However, there are many restaurants outside the resort which can be explored.
3. Room service only available till 11:30pm
4. Monsoon season can invite a few lizards in your room. However, the staff makes sure its out of your room soon.

My stay was in June (Off Season ). I felt like a VIP from the moment I stepped off the plane. Transfer was seamless. Arrived at hotel and the staff were so helpful in every aspect. The room was spacious with nice bathroom. It had good WiFi about 20mbps and you could also hotspot with TV in the room for better wifi. A small tip, you can get a screen mirror app on playstore and watch Netflix or YouTube through your phone or even look at the photos you've taken. The food is great and well priced. You can opt for more expensive dining but a pasta, salad, curry etc were only about 300 baht and good portions. If you want a cheaper meal you could walk less than 1km away to get some cheap food down near the aquarium but honestly the hotel is so good why would you want to. When I stayed it was quiet, no kids, no hooligans just like minded people enjoying there stay.
The free buffet breakfast in the morning is perfect and catered for all tastes. I had a fresh omelette each day with a side of mango coffee and juice.
My wife and I loved the resort so much. If you want to relax its perfect and if you want some action you'll have to travel into town to find it.
I know this is a long review but honestly there is so much more I could say
I would definitely recommend this to any couple who want a naughty holiday or just some r and r

Amazing service!!

After contacting the hotel via email, the quick reply from the reservation team and the thoughtful and professional proposal have made me feel good about the Amatara wellness resort. I finally decided to book the ocean view villa + honeymoon package.
The Transportation is a luxury van, comfort & safe.
The first night stay in pool pavilion room type, room facilities and view are good, but the privacy is not enough , I saw the next room pool is a few meters away only.
Stayed at Ocean villa for another 2 nights. except for the bathtub. The outdoor wall was slightly old. The jacuzzi pool button seemed to be broken. It took a few time to start. (We used it less than once or twice, so we didn't care about this button. ) The bathroom was huge and the view was very beautiful. The room was ok overall.
My Package includes, daily afternoon tea and desserts at the library, cocktail drinks at 6pm-7pm, sun and moon cocktails, spa and private romantic dinner, etc.,It won't be sloppy at alll, and beyond expectations. !
In the class “Learn how to spa each other,” the therapist names - May, she was very patient, and funny. she brought a lot of joy to us and we are very enjoy the entire process. My husband was not interested in, but on that day he laughed as the loudest one, I’m so happy we added this interaction in our honeymoon. Of course, the SPA quality is very good, my husband feel much better after SPA twice.
We had nice breakfast in The Restaurant & great dinner in The Grill, food was very delicious. Just a little pitty about the main course - Lobster Risotto with Lemon Sauce, the lemon taste sour for sure , but the acidity is higher than we expected and may just not suit for our taste.
I admired the training of the hotel staff. Every employee which I met was super helpful & friendly. Let me emphasize again.. .. I mean everyone! Regardless of the guards outside the gate, bellman, front desk, room service, restaurant waitress/waiter, cleaning lady... I never saw the staff without smile during my stay, it’s a amazing record.
I must mention that the employee at the front desk names Bow, the personal service she provide is world class!

My husband and I had a romantic & unforgettable honeymoon in Amatara wellness resort. We will visit again definitely.
