How to Get There
This was a graduation trip for our college daughter, she brought her best friend from Europe and we invited some of our relatives to join us. We were greeted by a very friendly staff headed by the Manager named Ms. Grace Asjes. She and her staff made sure that everything was very enjoyable for our stay. My wife had her birthday at this resort and the staff gave her a special dinner for "her day!"
The amenities that were available made the trip not only enjoyable, but fun, these included jet skiing, all wheel terrain vehicle, snorkeling, and kayaking to name the better ones. Food was good and the buffet was available for those with big appetites. Our family really enjoyed our stay and the staff was instrumental in making this possible.
My husband and I are truly grateful for Misibis Bay Resort’s exceptional service and we just wanted to say thank you so much for making our stay such a memorable experience! Your customer service is indeed above and beyond. All the staff and most especially the Manager namely Jhemelai we’re all indeed pleasant and very friendly. Highly recommended for all events, occasions and vacations.
My family visited this hotel to spend some time together and we left with mixed feelings. On one hand the drive there was lovely and the resort is nice and secluded. On the other hand, they have priced themselves into about a 10-20% occupancy. What does that mean? The place seems like it is about to go out of business. There was almost no staff on hand except at check in and the one restaurant. There was only one pool attendant and he couldn’t even get us any towels. We were the only ones swimming in the three pools mind you. The swim up bar was closed, the videoke room was closed, the kids area unstaffed, the gameroom unstaffed, the spa understaffed. The restaurant is slow and the food is merely ok. The upside is you have pretty much the whole resort to yourself. The downside is they will try to make you pay for the whole resort yourself lol. The thing that most frustrated me was some of their stupid policies. For example, my daughter and I went to ride a jet ski and were quickly confined to a small corner of the lagoon. What’s the point of renting a jet ski, if you can’t go anywhere with it? We ended up turning it in after only 15 minutes because it was no longer any fun. Another one that really upset me was their weird adult policy where if your children are over 11 they charge you additional as if there is some additional service being offered to the older kids. There isn’t. It is just another fee they don’t tell you about until check out. Keep in mind this isn’t all inclusive, so restaurant costs have nothing to do with this add on fee either. Everywhere you walk tiles are popping out of the floor and everything is rusting away from the salty air. The pool furniture is falling apart. The lobby is worn and the furniture is very dirty. Basically, everything has this feeling like they spent a bunch of money to build it and then never touched it again and now it is all falling apart. I can only recommend this resort to people without any kids who just want to be away from everything and do not want the services of a fully staffed hotel.
Booked a Pacific view room online, but was given garden view room. Tried to raise concern with the GM, who was ready to argue than listen. She is Very arrogant, zero customer mgt skills. Not fit for her role, misibis liab than asset. Food is mediocre at best while facilities are poorly maintained. Saving grace are the front desk staff and pool attendant.
First, lagi sila walang beach/pool towel. Laging sasabihin nasa “labahan” pa yung towels nila pero di naman puno yung resort. 4th day na namin dito hanggang ngayon nasa “labahan” pa rin ang kanilang mga towels. Second, nawawalan ng tubig at electricity without informing the guests! 5 days kami dito ng family sa resort na ‘to. Sobrang poor service and inconsistent. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ nakakatawa pa is libre yung bottled water nila, then nung humingi kapatid ko ng tubig siningil ng waiter. ⁉️ And food/beverage nila, OVERPRICED! Isa lang ang consistent sa resort na ‘to. Yung isa nilang waiter na pangalan ay Rex. Maraming salamat sa’yo. Anyway, yun lang. Sana maka tulong ‘tong review na ‘to. Uwi na kami bukas. Salamat.
