Our wedding
Reviewed 3 months ago

My partner and I just got married in the Catholic Church on boracay and we had our wedding reception and stayed at the villa caemilla. Wesley and all the staff were amazing, rooms were great with amazing views. Food was beautiful. Out the front door and onto the beach, everything you need and more. We can’t wait to stay here again. 2 steps away from the beach

We really loved our stay in this hotel and we would highlight the staff and the location.
You literally give two steps and you have your feet on the sand of the beach.
We enjoyed the location also, because it was slightly away from the crowd in station 1 and 2, so it gives you he freedom to actually relax at the beach without having a million people around you.
We had a problem with our bathroom and the staff promptly tried to resolve it and ended up upgrading us, so you can see that they really care about their guests.
The only not I would give, is for them to try to get faster WiFi, put less ice on the drinks and improve the quantity of their fruit bowls, because the quality was good.

Accommodating Staff

The staff did extra mall to accommodate my daughter’s needs. Since my daughter has really bad allergies on dust, the staff changed the beddings with a new ones. The room is clean & spacious right at the front of the beach. Thank you.

Incredibly Disappointed

Our Executive Suite stay at Villa Caemilla was beyond disappointing. We arrived late so no welcome drink (bar was still open) and the receptionist did not have the time to answer questions which is perhaps why we missed that there was a shuttle available to us. "Fruit basket" was literally three pieces of fruit. Our air conditioner did not work! They sent housekeeping up to "fix" it and with that the thermostat was reset. The next morning we explained air still did not work. On that day we were told that indeed it was broken but that it had been repaired. It was not. So for our entire stay we had an air conditioner that was not working. We received an apology note from management but this did not help us sleep at night. The room was spacious and had a nice terrace. The rugs were stained and torn and the bath room dark and dingy. The beach loungers were great as long as you got up early and reserved one for the day. Security tried to keep hawkers away on beach but not always successful. Drinks were tasty, however, food was not so much. Server forgot to put our order in for dinner one night...apology..no. There is no pool or spa on-site. No elevator so carrying luggage up and down is a drag. Boracay is beautiful...will be closed soon to repair sewage issues. Hope Villa Caemilla takes the time to fix maintenance/service issues. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
