How to Get There
Undefeated and still the best I’ve been in the Philippines! It’s affordable luxury! I really think the resort gives you all you need and more. Henann Regency Resort is the most practical choice in Boracay because of its location, amenities, food, quality of stay, and superb service. Our room was located in the inner side of the hotel though. Our room location is a bit at the back-end of the resort, away from the beach but the pool with jacuzzi and bar in our building make up for it. We also saw an exclusive lounge along the hallway which seems to serves buffet snacks and drinks. I forgot to ask how to avail it but maybe next time will get a room that goes with it just for experience. It’s surprising that even if the resort is massive, it didn’t feel crowded at all, except for the breakfast area where you have to wake up early to make sure you get good seats. Nothing beats their long and wide beach front, which was the reason why we chose the resort. I thought I will be missing the local vibe of Boracay without the tiangge or sellers by the beach but , honestly, I did not even notice they’re gone. It’s now more relaxing to walk by the beach and with Henann’s huge beach front, we got a better appreciation of the powder white sand and palm trees of the island. Come try Henann Regency in your next travel!
Me and my family had our vacation last May. This is our first time to visit Boracay and we stayed in Henann Regency Resort. We chose this resort because of our wonderful experience in their Henann Bohol Resort. Location is the BEST! it's on the beach, near the shopping area, restaurants and bars. Service was GREAT! We took the Kalibo flight (I recommend you take a flight via Caticlan) and when we arrived at the hotel, they offered us refreshing drinks and flawless service. Rooms were VERY COMFORTABLE. We stayed in a newly renovated room (ask for a room closer to the beach), Front desk reps were all accommodating and we felt really special. We availed the pool access room (we booked through their website) and all of us enjoyed it. Food was SUPERB. Overall we really had the most comfortable and hassle free stay from check in to check out! Highly recommended resort!
1) We stayed in their hotel last April 2019 but I was surprised to recieve an email last July 6 with the subject “Uncollected 2 persons for island hopping”. The email claimed that their Tour Supplier mentioned we only paid for 4 but we were actually 6. Then, the email also mentions that they need to get my permission to bill my credit card since they still have the details of my credit card!
I told them that I had cancelled the 2 persons with their Front Desk staff the day before and hence, our check out bill only included the correct number of persons. The reply was for them to check again with their Supplier and even asked me the name of the Front Desk staff who received my cancellation advice.
I replied again and reprimanded them for keeping the credit card details of their guests months after checking out and paying for the total bill given during check out which is alarming. I demanded to be referred to a more senior person and never got a reply after that email.
The island tour is not worth your money. The lunch was in native huts mixed with other Tour groups, hence, was confusing. The Tour guides did not direct everyone to their correct hut. The toilets were extremely dirty and could not even be locked. The food and drinks were served in unhygienic looking trays. There were even stray dogs inside the huts.
2) The rooms are clean and comfortably big enough for us and our bags. However, their housekeeping did not clean 1 out of the 3 rooms we booked till we got back at 5 p.m and requested them to clean it. The rooms also had mosquitoes. We liked their hanging racks for our wet clothes.
3) They have an excellent, value-for-money and extensive dinner/breakfast Buffets. However, the hotel is known for their buffets, hence, the restaurant can get really crowded with non-guests.
4) Their exclusive Henann Shuttle boat/van transfer was very efficient and comfortable. Saves a lot of time vs. the public boat transfers.
Henann Regency is a perfect go-to resort for us. I must say that we missed it during the island’s closure and we’re so happy that it’s been approved to re-open in time for summer. It’s a perfect time since I’m spending my vacation here in the Philippines with my family. Henann Regency did not disappoint me because it always make us feel cozy as if we’re just entering our own home. We stayed in a premier with direct access to the pool and it still has the same elegant interior and regal feel. Of course, we would never skip Sea Breeze Café’s lavish selection of dishes. Plus, it’s such a joy watching your dancing chefs and waiters! Your staff as they are accommodating and approachable at all times. It’s a priceless memory for us OFWs to spend a perfect vacation with our family back home and Henann Regency made that happen. Thank you and we will surely come back!
It was my first time staying at a Hennan Property, and this did not disappoint. This was the old Boracay Regency Hotel which is now managed by the Hennan Group.
The Hotel has a more classic and traditional feel compared to other resorts in Boracay. But this isn't a bad thing. The heavy, real wooden furniture gives you that Manila Peninsula 5 Star feel. The cozy lighting in the rooms, as well as the premium soft white sheets feel so good after a long day on the beach.
We stayed here in June, during the off season. They still had pretty high occupancy though, mostly tour groups. We booked online and got a good rate for a deluxe room, this was located on the third floor and had a veranda that overlooked the pool. The room was quite large, the King size bed was wrapped in soft, clean white sheets. The pillows were a bit too soft for me though and not all of the TV channels were clear. The bathroom had that classic feel as well, all in marble with premium fixtures with soft lighting. The water pressure of the shower wasn't the best, but it was enough, and the bidet was on the wrong side of the toilet but still usable.
The Breakfast Buffet was amazing, so much variety. This spoiled me, two to three servings of Breakfast everyday during my 3 night stay. The pool at our wing looked like the newest one and had a great pool bar, unfortunately no Happy Hour.
The service was very attentive, from the wait staff always ready to serve you coffee at the Breakfast Buffet to the Beachfront staff ever ready to set up your beach blanket and keep and eye on your belongings while you take a dip.
All in all a great Hotel, nothing beats the Cleanliness, Convenience and Service.
