Very good room, location

This review was for a stay some years ago (summer).
I had the room right beside the pool. This room is perfect for couples. Nice bed, nice bathroom, setup is very romantic.
Just exit the door and jump in to the pool. Hotel front is facing the beach and a good place to have a drink and just watch the sea, sun, beach and people.

Best Beachfront hotel in Boracay

We visit Boracay every year and Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel is by far my favorite destination. The details in room say that the the customers are treated with care. The staff in the hotel and restaurant are all courteous, greeting you with a hand on their chest with a bow. The service is always very fast, we asked for extra towels and water a couple of times and the staff arrived in less than 5 minutes. The room is very special, there is a mural in the bathroom,a comfortable firm bed, big enough for me, my husband and 2 young children. Right outside our room, the Grand Pool Suite at the first floor, is the swimming pool, which is treated and cleaned every morning and all throughout the day. The beachfront is reserved for guests and is very quiet. The buffet breakfast also has different menus every day with a salad bar and fresh fruits. Must not miss the quattro formaggio pizza and gelato. It's what we always crave for going back home.

Old, Mosquitos and LOUD music

Don’t waste your money. Not sure why anyone would rate this a 5 star. For some reason this hotel is the only one that seems to play live music (sorry but seems to be terrible singing) every night at ridiculous levels until midnight. The rooms are old, not well maintained and more or less pretty disgusting. We stayed in a premier room which had mosquitos flying around everywhere and a squeaky bed. Dirty curtains, lamp shades etc etc etc. They did upgrade us to the presidential suite which is nice of them, however, even louder and just as disgusting. Stay at a new hotel. Breakfast average. Have a better toaster at home for 2 people. Nice staff yeah but irrelevant when it comes to actual quality of the hotel.

Good beach front hotel

We stayed for 3 nights at Boracay. A tip when traveling in big group, make sure you get the hotel to arrange your arrival time as it was quite difficult to drag our luggages along the sand.
Room was spacious enough to add an extra bed. Pool is relatively small but we enjoyed the beach better.

We had 2 days of gloomy weather early Feb but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the beach. We walked to station 1 for a whiter sandy beach.
The Italian restaurant at the hotel serve delicious food and the gelato is so cheap. Basically had that everyday day! There is also fire dance show every night at the outdoor of the restaurant.
Another tip when those guys approach for beach activities - always bargain to half as they tend to mark up too high.
The helmet dive was a good experience.
Kids enjoyed the paddle board which you can rent hourly basis for 500php each

Overall if you want a beach facing hotel at station 2 and warm friendly staff, this hotel sums up to it.
