Menorca is well known for its Spanish allure, peacefulness, crystal clear waters and pretty sandy beaches. White Sands Beach Club by Diamond Resorts resides on a cocooned bay, and is perfectly placed for easy beach access. It’s one great reason to plan a Balearic Island getaway, to bask in the sun and take in sublime views.
The hotel’s brilliant white façade is striking, as are its archways and pretty garden seating areas that make for a cosy holiday setting. Here, accessibility and convenience are combined with complete relaxation, and you’ll find a beautiful pool terrace lined with thatched umbrellas and sunbeds. This hotel facilitates family stays, but you can also escape the play areas with a romantic stroll along the shoreline.
You will not be short of things to do along and away from this exquisite coastline. Visit the island’s delightful Ciutadella city, that will take you back in time with its cobbled lanes, Gothic churches and medieval architecture. Embrace Spanish culture with an evening showcase of dancing horses at Somni, and savour some tasty local cuisine in Mahón.

How to Get There
We spent 2 weeks here in September / October and it was lovely with most helpful and friendly staff. We had travel delays in arriving and also needed an extra day added to our stay and none of this was an issue. The hotel may not suit those with mobility issues as to reach the main reception and indeed all the apartments you need to use stairs. On the plus side the hotel is located just metres from the Cami de Cavalls path which circles the island. Well worth checking it out online. The apartment, we were in a Garden single story one, was nicely furnished, if a little tired. There was ample room for us as a couple though with one bathroom it and with a small kitchen, it may prove cramped for a family of 4 or 2 couples. . We didn’t have sea view and whilst this initially caused some concern in fact the garden views, especially when the local goats come to visit, is ideal. The pool area isn’t large but for us, looking for a post hike swim, it was ample and relaxing. With a bus stop a few hundred metres away there is easy access to other parts of the islands. There are a couple of smaller supermarkets in Arenal but I would recommend taking the bus into Mao and visiting the Mercadona supermarket. The staff at the resort were very helpful and happy to go the extra mile to give local advice on shopping and buses. All in all a great stay and we will be back to explore more.
On arrival we had to drag our cases up and down lots of steps before getting to reception to check in then more steps but also ramps to get to the apartment.
The apartment was a duplex, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and a living room and kitchen downstairs. There was a small balcony which had a nice view of the sea and a veranda which also overlooked the little beach just in front of the complex.
The apartment had what we needed fridge microwave oven TV DVD player etc but we were disappointed there was no dish washer.
The bar/restaurant was close by and there was also a jacuzzi and infinity pool within the complex.
Close by and up 109 steps there was a supermarket, that sold everything we needed, a pharmacy and the bus stop.
I enjoyed the size and amenities of the studio here. It was very clean and spacious and nothing was missing. The service was good and very helpful. The place is a bit odd - tourist housing no local live.
