How to Get There
Wow how to ruin a great afternoon at la finca golf went to bar to order some cocktails waiter said he bring them over so we sat I ordered mojito Something nice and refreshing brought it over took a sip it was full of lemon it was disgusting went back to waiter and said have you no limes for this cocktail he shrugged his shoulders and said no I answered back why didn't you tell me basically he said not his problem unreal never going in the bar ever again mate
My Partner and I stayed at La Finca for 4 nights before visiting friends locally.
Things I rate highly would be cleanliness, breakfast was great, swimming pool was lovely with plenty of sun beds, surprisingly it wasn’t just full of large male groups of golfers but mainly couples, evening meal outside was extremely tasty.
Things I felt were slightly frustrating would be the length of time to be served on occasions at the pool bar, prices were slightly high for food and drinks - €5 for a pint of Lager.
I did manage to play 18 holes of golf and the pro shop staff were really helpful - cost around €40 to play at twilight (16:30) and €35 to hire clubs.
One thing I would definitely recommend would be going for food at the golf clubhouse/bar in the evening. It overlooks the course and has stunning views, on the Friday there was an amazing Spanish lady singing whilst we ate and had a few drinks. We both had fresh pizzas which were amazing.
This is a lovely hotel/spa/golf resort. The rooms are superb, the staff very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was excellent. I cannot fault it other than it is a bit remote and it was quiet. Algorfa is not far away but is very British so if you want a bit more Spanish flavour you need to travel a bit. We found a small village called Formentera which had a lovely bar/restaurant at really good prices.
The golf course is immaculate, long but immaculate ,so was Los Collinas but avoid VillaMartin, congested ,disorganised ,and a bit tired.
