Mothers never come here
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Me, my wife and my 8 months daughter stop there to have a couple of cappuccinos.
My wife enter the hotel and ask to the receptionist if some one could take our order, she said some will go there. And then she ask if there is a bathroom to change the baby. With the must unfriendly and rude tone of voice that we ever seen in Croácia she said no. My wife ask if could do it in another place she said again even in a worst tone of voice, no this is an hotel. So if you are a mother or, you are thinking of having a baby some day, don’t go here. People without sensitive to a children/babies needs don’t deserve to work with tourists.

A nice hotel within the Diocletian Palace...with a few quirks
Reviewed 1 month ago

This is a hotel with excellent qualities held down by a few unavoidable flaws.

The Good: You get a hotel at the heart of Diocletian's Palace, with reception less than 30 steps away from the center square of the palace. The room and amenities are generally nice and modern. The service is wonderful with hotel staff truly concerned regarding the comfort of your visit. Included breakfast was good but not quite at the level of some other premium hotel breakfasts.

The Quirks:

1) We stayed in annex building, which is a 5 minute walk from the main office. This results in a slight Airbnb feel. The hotel attempts to overcome this problem by having a staff member present downstairs in the kitchen area to attend to your needs. Staff is eager to help you shuttle your luggage between reception and your building.

2) This hotel can be difficult to find. The google maps location of this hotel is precise, but reception is counter-intuitively located one floor up due to the Palace's layout. The staff tries to overcome this by meeting you at more identifiable places and walking you over.

3) Because of the location, it is not possible to drive directly up to the hotel. I would call ahead of time to coordinate with the hotel the best way to manage this, if you are planning to drive into the city.

Overall, this is a high quality hotel with staff dedicated to making your stay as comfortable as possible. The location within the Palace is beneficial but creates some unexpected obstacles. Still DO recommend.

Will not return

This is a hotel in Split, Croatia. I found this place to lack organization and meaningful hospitality. Their management appears overconfident without providing the service one can expect. We will not come back to this hotel.

Impressing...

This hotel has a great location in the old town close to all the attractions and easy walking: right in the centre of the Diocletian Palace next to the Vestibul.
İt is a hidden gem in a courtyard and despite being right in the middle of the old city it is really very quiet.
Hotel is space vise small but very well appointed with a great team. The Manager and front desk personnel were all helped us a lot with car rental, dinner recommendations and guided us for all our queries.
All staff was gorgeous, all speaking English, helping with excellent pieces of advice on anything. We were escorted until the port by the team to our car so that our departure was effortless, despite its non-whicle location. We recommend the hotel very much.
It has nice amenities Full breakfast was included.
The singing trio can wake you up early in the mornings.

Gorgeous haven in the centre of Split

Located right in centre of the Diocletian Palace next to the Vestibul yet hidden away in a courtyard, the Vestibul Palace was a lovely find. Despite being right in the middle of the city it was really peaceful. The staff were gorgeous and so helpful, all speaking immaculate English as elsewhere, helping with excellent advice on restaurants etc. We were met at the port by the team and whisked to the hotel smoothly so the arrival and departure were effortless, despite the location. Cannot recommend the hotel enough.
