How to Get There
A late review, but wanted to make sure to leave a note. This hotel is amazing - rooms very comfortable, loved bathrooms and the beach in back is excellent. Do note that the location is outside, and a 20 minute bus ride to, main tourist part of Split. We preferred this and there were still nearby restaurants/bars to be able to get to easily from hotel.
The food at the hotel was excellent - ate dinner two nights and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. All to be enjoyed beach side!
The beach has great chairs and umbrellas for rent for hotel guests. All beaches in Croatia are pebbly, so just know that this is no different. I was still able to do great runs and we enjoyed the water.
Sunset was perfect nearly every evening and could be enjoyed privately a little ways down the beach or from the roof with an Aperol Spritz!
The pool was very clean and nice, but not heated (too cold for us to use).
The staff were incredibly helpful, always had excellent recommendations or advice on what to see or eat.
We had one of the rooms on the floor with private hot tubs - very much enjoyed this! They were less "hot" and more just comfortable for cooling off and relaxing. Very clean and well kept.
Loved every second of our stay at this hotel!!!!!
I stayed at Hotel Split for a week and the staff are lovely, polite and will do anything to make your stay an enjoyable one. The wellbeing room is lush and relaxing. Can't wait to come back. Thank you for helping to make my holiday a fab one
We had to write a review immediately as already had incredible customer service from the hotel. Possibly Tom?? Greeted us on reception (6th October 13:00
aprox) and was very helpful and friendly plus we got a room upgrade completely out the blue. Then the next day we wanted to hire a car and make plans for a day trip to the waterfalls and Split centre. We were greeted by Anita and she was possibly the most helpful and friendly person we have ever met in any hotel. Knowledgable and made us feel exceptionally looked after. Thank you Hotel Split we will definitely be back next time we visit Croatia x
Food and facilities are excellent, location perfect and the rooms are outstanding. Breakfast included was a large buffet with a lot of options!
We had 3-day seminar with 15 participants and we used the conference room at -2 level. The room could have easily be used for 30-40 persons. We used seating with tabels for participants to be able to take notes and be more comfortable. The room is air-conditionend and spacious and provides a healthy envirinment although is placed in undergound level. Next to the room is a patio wich was used for coffee breaks as this is very convenient to have a semiopen-fresh air-break. The lunch was served in the restaurant or on the terrace directly on the beach, at -4 level. A very nice atmosphere is created throghout the hotel with painting from local painters so you feel all the time being accompanied by a gentle attention and motivated to contemplate on the messages perceived.
The staff are friedly and most flexible to the requirements made by any guest.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for two nights while visiting Split and on our way from Dubrovnik to Zagreb. First we were hesitated to stay outside Split, thought we will be far away from the city but after we got there we felt that we were lucky to stay in this hotel and be a little outside the city. This hotel is located right on the beach, it has its own access to the beach, and it has many open seating area on the beach. The first night we stayed in a room that is not right on the beach, the reason was our fault we reserved a standard room, but we check with Ana at the front desk which she was very helpful and friendly and she upgraded us for a small fee to a room on the fourth floor (45) which had an amazing view of the Aderiatic sea and partial of the city.
The hotel has a private parking that you pay for it but it wasn’t that expensive, you get a free good internet connection and free excelent breakfast. There are many green features in this hotel and it looks like the owner spent good money on the entertainment of his guests like an upscale swimming pool and many outdoor seating areas (much more than what you see on the online pictures).
There are multiple supermarket close to the hotel and there are two small restaurants very close to the hotel were the locals eat, try there sandwiches they are delicious.
The city is ten minutes drive from the hotel, we drove our car to old town Split. Parking was very easy and close, we paid $1 per hour for parking which is not a big deal.
